I threw in a tablespoon of Italian style seasoning and fresh sliced mushrooms (because I love them). Definitely a keeper. I used Muir Glen fire roasted diced tomatoes and they added some kick/spice.Note, even though I had it covered while simmering (to keep in heat and moisture) I ended up adding another 1 cup of water to get the noodles to al dente. They would've been positively crunchy without it. Helpful (1) Delilah Magenta reviewed Bcsgibson’s Shipwreck Casserole Recipe. 1 week ago It makes TONS more than the recipe says. We ate 3 servings yesterday and I put 4 more in the fridge. Helpful (1) Allrecipes Member reviewed Bcsgibson’s Shipwreck Casserole Recipe. 1 week ago Easy to follow A keeper! I used mozzarella as that is all I had and replaced the peas with frozen cauliflower and broccoli. Pretty darn good! More flavor, just add pepperoncini or jalapeno. More veggies, broccoli or cauliflour is always good with chessy noodles. This a great starting point and very good as is is. You will find your crepes are lighter and more tender because the blender lets you quickly emulsify the batter with out toughening it. Use a nonstick pan, lightly buttered for each crepe. And most importantly, be purposeful and decided about moving the pan in firm, deft circles. Do it immediately and don't dither. Cover with a light towel, not paper.
