Way too much cream cheese. Will make a roux add milk for regular cream soup and pullout all the shrimp:potatoes and a bit of cream cheese. My husband liked it more than I did

Great flavor and pretty simple to make. I concur with others that the olive oil should be reduced some (maybe 1/3 cup vs. 1/2). The oregano and thyme could also be reduced a bit. Most importantly, the first step should be Soak the Dried Beans! That step is presumed, but it needs to be made clear.

OK with tweaks Needs more flavor
I enjoyed this recipe, it was simple and fast to make. I made it again, but this time I added a teaspoon of salt to the meat before I cooked it and instead of mushrooms, I used peas. Also had to cook longer so the carrots were properly cooked.
