I subbed crushed Ritz crackers for the onions. That was the best part of this casserole. I found that the tuna was lost and the whole dish was very bland. I wound up discarding it because I could not bring myself to feed this to hubby. This is not something I would ever make again.

Family loved it. I doubled the recipe and used one can of peas and one can of corn. Ended up with a small casserole dish to put in the freezer for later!

A keeper!
Been making this for over four decades. I don't do anything on the stove top. I put the soup, milk, tuna & add frozen mixed vegetables in a casserole dish. Cook the macaroni, mix with the cheese, toss it in the casserole dish, mix it all together & put in the oven at same temp. Easy, fairly healthy meal. I usually serve a salad & bread with it.
