It truly is "Super-Delicious"!!! I added extra bacon and used Tuscan kale as my only change. My hubby and guest were both impressed!

This is the way I've made fresh green beans for years and always get compliments from guest. Sometimes instead of water I use chicken broth or stock. Have also steamed the beans first till slightly tender and then finish up in the pan. Usually for seasoning I just add salt and pepper and maybe a dash of red pepper flakes. Thanks so much for posting this as it's easy and quite good!

This is the way I have fixed fried cabbage for years...And...Yes! I now live in the south but my mother fixed it this way too and I was raised in the north!! Simple, easy and delicious. You can substitute butter for the bacon grease with great results too.

I made exactly to recipe and though it turned out rather moist, it lacked flavor. It was okay but I am still going to keep looking for the perfect roasted chicken. Giving it 4 stars for the moistness and the ease of fixing this recipe.
