Easy to follow A keeper!
Talk about a show stopper cookie ! My guests absolutely loved these savory cookies and that kick from the red pepper jelly made them so much more interesting. I served the cookies with a bottle of spicy zinfandel and they paired really well. What a fun recipe !

I make these all the time (I mean it!) and someone always wants the recipe. The first time I made them, they turned out perfect. Each time after that I've had to add extra cheese (or cold butter) to form a ball. Next time I'll try some cold water. I use sharp cheese for extra flavor, and I'm sure the brand, and type of cheese used will make a difference in holding together. I've even used gluten-free flour and turned out great. I always use what jam/jelly is in my frig and add cayenne or pepper flakes to spice it up. So, if you don't have traditional pepper jelly, be creative. I've never added salt, pepper, or garlic powder...but garlic does sound like a good addition. I make these small, so they are a fun addition to a charcuterie board. Only bake the amount you might need for a party. The ball keeps in the frig (if well wrapped) and bake as needed because they are better when fresh.

These were great! Next time I will cook a little longer! I did add the garlic, paprika and salt as others suggested.

Utter failure! I used pre shredded cheese and I followed the recipe. The "dough" was crumbly and could not be shaped into a ball without falling apart. Something is missing that will hold the dry ingredients together.
