I made the following alterations to make it healthier (less refined flour and sugar to lower the recipe's glycemic index): Instead of 1.5 cups of each of 3 types of berries I used 2 cups of each. Instead of 2 cups of flour I used 1 cup of whole wheat flour pus 1/2 cup of almond flour plus 1/4 cup of gluten free flour and added 1/4 cup more of oatmeal. Instead of 1.5 cups of brown sugar I used 3/4 cup of erythritol/monk fruit blend plus 1/4 cup of coconut sugar plus 1/4 cup of brown sugar plus 1 tsp of stevia powder (ground whole stevia leaves). Because of the increased volume of berries I increased baking time to 50 or 55 minutes. This came out just the way I like it: more berries, less sugar but more yum!
