I followed the instructions as prescribed and it turned out great! The girlfriend and I enjoyed it thoroughly and will definitely make this dish again! It goes well with Chardonnay! Helpful (2) Tangy Pineapple Chicken 07/13/2010 This is an excellent, tasty and tangy chicken dish! The only changes I made was to serve the chicken as is rather than over rice. Since I used pineapple pieces rather than sliced pineapple, I would recommend to cut the amount of pineapple in half. Other than that, it was a great recipe dish. I served it with maple dill carrots as a side-dish! What a great combination! Helpful (2) Horseradish Deviled Eggs 05/31/2010 This is a very good deviled eggs dish. May I suggest to reduce the amount of mayonnaise by half and to double the amount of horseradish to taste more the horseradish. Perhaps the mustard can be replaced by dijon mustard instead to zip up the taste. Helpful (2) Glazed Dijon Carrots 05/31/2010 This is an excellent carrot recipe dish. I followed the instructions as is and it turned out great. May I suggest the addition of 1/2 teaspoon of horseradish (for 4 servings) to zip up the taste but the recipe is fine as it is. It's a great recipe to make if you're a bit tired and you don't want to prepare something too complicated. May I suggest the inclusion of 2 tablespoons of cumin or thyme (for 6 servings) to add a bit more flavor but the recipe is fine as is! Helpful (3) Mexican Sour Cream Rice 05/29/2010 Update to my previous review! This is a yummy rice dish! I doubled the amount of kernel corn but other than that, I followed the instructions as is and it turned out very good! As the main dish, I cooked the Texas style chicken tequila and it turned out to be a great combination due to the Mexican flavor attached to both dishes! Previous review: Very good recipe! I've prepared this dish on three different occasions - the last time being on December 29, 2007 - and it turned out great every time. I've always included more kernel corn than required. Since I didn't have green chili peppers, I replaced them with Turkish chili peppers. I'm sure you can replace the green chili peppers with chopped jalapeno peppers or the Muenster cheese with either pepperjack or Mexican / nacho blended cheese. I will definitely make this wonderful dish again. Helpful (2)
