I made this last night but with Mahi Mahi, local grocery store didn’t have sea bass, and let me tell you this was AMAZING! Besides the fish change and only chopping up one jalapeño, I followed the recipe completely (next time I’ll use more jalapeños for the heat, I was scared) and it was so full of flavor, just delicious! I didn’t serve it with white rice. I’m Puerto Rican and my mom used to serve us bacalao with something called guanimos, they’re like dumplings, the stew reminded me of her dish so I made those to serve the stew over-“chefs kiss “ it hit the spot! Sorry about the photo lol, that was after the third serving.. still does it justice though.

This is amazing!! Super easy to make. Followed the instructions, just omitted the olives (I hate olives) added cucumber and crumbed feta cheese. Superb!!! Everyone loves it and it’s always a hit! Five stars for sure.

OMG y'all!! I made this tonight... changed it a tad. I added about three teaspoons of minced garlic, about a teaspoon of liquid hickory smoke.. mind you I got these ideas from reading everyone else reviews. ok. okkkay!... I let it slow cook the six hours. followed the rest of the recipe to a tea... wait!! pause!! I didn't use frozen chicken nope..., I used five pack of chicken from the grocery store, defrosted but made sure to clean it before and wash it down before I put it in the slow cooker ok.. but still.. slow cooked it and followed the recipe besides adding the garlic and smoke flavoring. after the six hours..I broke the chicken apart inside the cooker, added the rest of the 19 oz. Jack Daniels barbecue I bought, but mixed it with a tblspoon of corn starch to thicken the sauce a bit. I think good barbecue bought sauce is the better option. Chiiillld, it is fricken amazing tasting and so easy to make!! recommend to everyone!! made baked potatoes on the side, swipied then down with some oil Olive and kosher salt and garlic. baked them about an hour like you know how to do... amazing!! koodos to the lady who came up with this recipe. I'm new to cooking and you just made me so happy!! I'll for sure be doing this again.. and again.. and again
