I had raw chicken, so I cooked it with the spices above with some diced carrots. I used cooked rice in a bag (just one bag). I didn't have onions, zucchini, or mushrooms, so I threw in a half cup of frozen corn. I also used cheddar cheese. Everyone had seconds. Helpful (0) Salmon with Lemon and Dill 12/24/2012 I thought this was great. I had two pounds of salmon, but I didn't quite double the other ingredients. I used 6 TBS of butter, 6 TBS of lemon juice, a heaping TBS of dill, and two cloves of chopped garlic which I mixed together. I got a lot of compliments. Thanks for the recipe. Helpful (1) Leftover Turkey Tetrazzini 11/28/2010 This was a good way to use up my turkey leftovers. I sauteed some onion and garlic in the saucepan before melting the butter. I also added some seasoning and some white wine. When I mixed the sauce and the pasta I threw in a cup of frozen peas. Overall it was a little plain, but still tasty. Helpful (0) Brown Sugar Meatloaf 09/13/2009 This was a great recipe. I read the other reviews and made a few small changes though... I only had 1 1/4 lbs of turkey, so I changed the ingredient quantities to make 6 serving sizes instead of 8. I didn't go down to 5 serving sizes because I added 2 shredded carrots and 2 chopped celery stalks and 1/4 cup of chopped onion. I soaked the bread crumbs in the milk as suggested. I only had plain bread crumbs, so I added 2 teaspoons of italian seasoning to the bread crumbs. I also added a pinch of garlic powder. I used shredded cheddar and monterey jack cheese because that's what I had. And finally, I added 1 tbsp of brown sugar to the ketchup. I only cooked to 160 degrees (which took almost an hour) and let it rest under foil to 165. The meatloaf was flavorful and moist. I will definitely make it again. Helpful (0) Wine Marinade 12/24/2008 I changed the recipe a little bit based on what I had in the house. I only had a soy sauce marinade, which is really just soy sauce and sugar. So I used 3/4 cups of the marinade instead of 1/2 cup and I used 1 1/2 tbsp of sugar instead of 3 tbsp. I also used brown sugar instead of molasses. The wine I used was a shiraz. The marinade was delicious, and I'm sure it would be even better if I followed the ingredients more precisely! Helpful (8) Kielbasa with Peppers and Potatoes 03/14/2008 Really enjoyed this meal. I cooked the pepper (with 1/2 an onion and some garlic) in a separate pan. Then I put the potatoes and meat into the pepper pan for the last five minutes-- that way I left some of the meat grease behind. Helpful (0) recipe collections 1 All Saved Recipes 26 Recipes
