Great flavors Easy to follow Crowd-pleaser Family favorite MY FAMILY LOVED IT. MADE IT TODAY FOR HUBBY’S BIRTHDAY AND HE LOVED IT MORE THAN A PREVIOUS FAVORITE. WE FORGOT THE PEPPERONCINI PEPPERS AND SUBSTITUTED A CAN OF GREEN CHILIS. NOT SPICY BUT A WELL ROUNDED FLAVOR. One or two opened up and made the roast nice and hot, the rest remained whole and lost much of their heat so we're a delight on the plate! Recommend the dish highly. It will be way too salty! Use one stick of unsalted butter and at least a 5 lb roast. Helpful (2) Jlpred reviewed Pokerman11’s Mississippi Roast (Slow Cooker Pepperoncini Pot Roast) Recipe. Remove all the bones, then add in your veggies, noodles, spices etc, siminer another 10, then put in the chicken meat just PRIOR to serving Helpful (30) Bill's Sausage Gravy 04/11/2011 I use corn starch, but mix the starch in with the cold milk FIRST, and then add to the drippings/melted butter. No lumps!! Helpful (2) Feta and Olive Meatballs 08/17/2006 I formed some of mine into strips no tthe balls. Then put it in warmed pita, w/ vegies and cucumber ranch salad dressing. It was a great Guyro filler Helpful (41) Grilled Cheese with Tomato, Peppers and Basil 07/28/2006 serrano peppers are what 4-5 times hotter than the jalapeno? This is just a little too hot for most of my guests and family. When I made this I had a few different types of peppers on hand. Some habaneros, Anaheim chile, banana peppers as well as just some simple yellow sweet bells. That way people could pick their spice level. Personaly I like the habernero on this but habaneros are way too hot for most. Helpful (28) recipe collections 1 All Saved Recipes 95 Recipes
