Shhh. Don't tell anyone, but these easy and fantastic brownies are gluten free. They will never know! 3/4 cup all purpose flour or your own gluten free flour blend can be substituted. If baking gluten free, don't omit the xantham gum. It's essential in most gluten free baking.

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Grease a 8 inch square baking pan.

  • In a medium sized bowl mix together all the ingredients, except the chocolate chips, until well blended. The dough will be very heavy and sticky when mixing.

  • Press dough into the greased pan using wet hands or spatula.

  • Sprinkle batter with chips. Lightly press into dough.

  • Bake for 25 minutes.

  • Allow to cool for 20 minutes before slicing.
