Easy and fantastic. Great tip to rest the breaded chicken before panfrying, it really helped the coating stick & crisp up. I didn't actually measure the panko, just filled up a plate, pressed, and tossed out small excess. My cheese was a shredded blend for pizza with mozzarella, provolone & swiss. I added shaved parmesean to top. Basil fresh from my garden. Chicken was delicious & juicy.

I wish I'd read the reviews 1st. A little bland.... Next time less milk, more garlic, add red pepper flakes, maybe Italian sausage or use white cheddar or swiss for 1/2 of the cheese.... Good recipe but needs tweaking based on individual palettes.

Great for 1st time. I was a little short on crème fraiche because I used some for smoked salmon quiche, so mine is not as creamy as the recipe photo. I did not have sour cream but substituted Icelandic plain yogurt which is similar texture. I also used shaved parmesean instead of grated. Baby Bella mushrooms worked great. Next time I will cook the chicken for less time than recipe to prevent dryness. In spite of all the future corrections the meal tasted amazing anyways.
