Crowd-pleaser Family favorite
Followed Chef John's recipe let's say 'closely'. It was Valentine's Day yesterday and grilled a Tomahawk Ribeye and used the bone to cook and stir it. In my book, layers of flavors work best and this was no exception.. Very very good (as usual Thanks Chef John)

Very tasty, and yes sprinkles make the "nut" very festive. I wonder about the 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, to 3 cups of powdered sugar.. Seemed insufficient to wet the frosting.. I carefully added 2 more.

Love these cookies! Follow the recipe precisely for great results. Softened butter is key, and remember when cutting dough, object is 'same size' for even baking. Pro tip: cook time is accurate for sea level - they'll be browning on bottom while still looking white-ish on top. Use care - don't burn em!
