OK with tweaks
Yum! Added a few ingredients, but very tasty. Chili is usually a clean-out-the-crisper-drawer fare for me, so I added a bell pepper, 2 mesilla peppers, a jalapeño, and a handful of garlic cloves that I minced. I also had a quart of homemade Rancho Gordo beans that I had frozen, so I used them with their brodo (homemade beans always have yummy broth) in place of the drained canned beans and chicken broth. Excellent as a bowl of chili, but my favorite way to serve is over a baked potato with greek yogurt, shredded cheddar, green onions, and hot sauce.

Okay, but boring. needs more meat to feed 6. Add 1 lb of roast beef chunks. Needs some spice (and not chili spice). Use pinto beans! Also some diced chilis mild and 1 diced jalapeno if you like hotter.

This is the best chili I’ve ever made. Only changes I made were I used 1/3 cup chicken broth, a little less salt and added 4 cloves of crushed garlic. It’s not too thick, which I like. I hate thick pasty chili.
