Today The original recipe I'm sure would've tasted exactly like canned Spaghetti-o's, but I made a few tweaks to enjoy it more as an adult. First, I skipped using the sugar, instead adding a blend of garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes (about 3/4 teaspoons each). I looked up Cantazaro herbs, and I figured out they're just Italian Seasoning, sans salt. So, I used my regular Italian herbs. I also couldn't find ring-shaped pasta that wasn't obscenely expensive, so I used some gear-shaped pasta I found at my local supermercado—they also had alphabet and star-shaped pasta that I might try next since they were so cute!! Finally, I couldn't get my pre-made frozen meatballs to reshape into balls when I quartered them, so they're not quite "perfect" looking, but the dish tasted really cozy and satisfying, and was so simple to make! I recommend air frying the chicken separately, slicing it into pieces, and adding them like croutons right before serving. I ended up adding a bit more tomatoes—I had 2 fresh ones that needed using in addition to a can of fire roasted diced tomatoes. I also blended the soup base before adding the pasta, which I had cooked in a separate pot to prevent it from becoming soggy. Helpful (0) Grocery Addict reviewed Carrot Cake Pancakes Recipe. Today Super yummy and fluffy pancakes with an excellent carrot cake flavor. I slightly changed the cream cheese frosting recipe to use what I had on hand—I used whipped cream cheese from a tub, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla. It turned out beautifully. Helpful (0) Grocery Addict reviewed Marry Me Chicken Pasta Bake Recipe. Today Easy and delicious. I recommend slightly undercooking the chicken breast in the pan in order to prevent it from drying out in the oven. I ended up making the components separately and then assembling and baking it off the following day. I recommend keeping some extra pasta water on hand for reheating to help thin out the sauce in the microwave. I also didn't have jarred sun dried tomatoes, only the dry kind—I rehydrated them by adding a bit of boiling water to the pan with the white wine and letting it boil off, then soaking the ones for the top of the casserole in boiling water for about 15 minutes before draining and topping. My husband is obsessed. Helpful (0) Grocery Addict reviewed 4-Ingredient Orange Chicken Recipe. Today Very yummy, and impressive how much flavor came from so few ingredients. It was a bit sweet for my taste—but I think orange chicken is typically supposed to be pretty sweet—so I preferred it after adding a hefty dose of sriracha for added sweet heat. Next time I think I'll also try to find frozen popcorn chicken instead of the nuggets to make the bites easier to eat with chopsticks. Helpful (0) Grocery Addict reviewed Bang Bang Cauliflower Recipe. Today Super easy, super delicious. I used a wire rack insert on my cookie sheet and used the convection heat function of my oven to improve the crispiness—I'm glad I did. Used hot smoked paprika for added heat. Will definitely be making this again!
