Aldi's Latest $20 Appliance Is the Perfect White Elephant Gift

Christmas is just over a month away, which means gift-buying season is in full swing. Grocery stores aren't usually the first place you think of for great gifts, but some carry hidden gems perfect for foodies.

Aldi has a rotation of kitchenware, which includes giftable items such as the Crofton Christmas Tree Platter, a copycat KitchenAid hand mixer, and plenty of Le Creuset look-alikes. Recently, we spotted another great Aldi find perfect for holiday gift exchanges or cozy evenings at home. 

Aldi’s Ambiano S’mores Maker

S’mores might rule the summer, but the craving for the campfire classic can also strike when it's chilly outside, too. Luckily, fans can enjoy the ooey-gooey dessert from the comfort of their kitchens with Aldi’s Ambiano S’mores Maker. 

The electric tabletop appliance makes it easy to safely roast marshmallows indoors without a flame. A stainless steel heating unit houses a coil similar to a stove burner. The removable heater is surrounded by four serving bowls that can be filled with graham crackers, marshmallows, and mini chocolate bars. It also includes four stainless steel sticks for roasting at a safe distance.

It makes a great stand-alone gift for the s'mores lover. (For those who favor salty over sweet, the appliance can also be used to make savory s'mores.)
