Three Allen High School football players were honored with Player of the Year awards when District A-7 coaches released their All-District teams for the 2024 season.

Four Allen seniors will be honored in a 6:00 p.m. ceremony next Friday evening, January 17th, prior to the Allen/Konawa basketball games.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) has arrested 42-year-old Richard Dewayne Chambers in connection with three homicides that occurred late Tuesday night, December 17th. Two of the victims were found in Pontotoc County and one in Midwest City.
