Chile Cities

We will take a look at the five biggest Chile cities . In addition to having a well-established middle class, excellent medical facilities, and a well-developed infrastructure, Chile is one of the safest and most politically stable countries in South America.  Chile has one city with a population of more than one million people, 26 cities with a population of between 100,000 and one million people, and one city with fewer than 100,000 people.

Santiago was given this name in honor of the biblical hero St. James.

Santiago accounts for 45 percent of the country’s gross domestic product. According to the World Bank the city, together with Buenos Aires and So Paulo, is one of the most important financial capitals in South America,

As a result of the Spanish colonial period, Chilean culture has evolved into a fusion of Spanish colonial characteristics with aspects of indigenous (mainly Mapuche) culture as well as components of other immigrant cultures. The Huasos of Central Chile, as well as its traditional or folk music and dance, are essential to the development of Chilean folklore.
