"All Over Me" (Josh Turner song), a song written by The Peach Pickers (Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson, Ben Hayslip), and recorded by American country music artist Josh Turner. It was released in April 2010 as the second single from his album Haywire
Co-writer Rhett Akins told The Boot that the song "is another one of those good time summer feeling songs about hot weather and it being time to get in the boat, grab your girl and head to the lake or the river." He also said that they "didn't have any title mapped out or even a direction of where we were going[…]We came up with the title to the song as we were writing the chorus about save all your kisses up, bring all your sweet love, and pour it all over me."
Content
"All Over Me" is an uptempo song backed primarily by piano and electric guitar. The song's male narrator describes telling his love interest his desire to take her down to the riverbank in the summer, begging her to pour her love "all over [him]."
Charles Allan "Charlie" Rich (December 14, 1932–July 25, 1995) was an American country music singer, songwriter and musician. His eclectic style of music was often hard to classify in a single genre, encompassing the rockabilly, jazz, blues, country, soul and gospel genres.
In the later part of his life, Rich acquired the nickname the Silver Fox. He is perhaps best remembered for a pair of 1973 hits, "Behind Closed Doors" and "The Most Beautiful Girl". "The Most Beautiful Girl" topped the U.S. country singles charts, as well as the Billboard Hot 100 pop singles charts and earned him two Grammy Awards. Rich was inducted into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame in 2015.
Early life
Rich was born in Colt, Arkansas, to rural cotton farmers. He graduated from Consolidated High School in Forrest City, where he played saxophone in the band. He was strongly influenced by his parents, members of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Forrest City, as his mother, Helen Rich, played piano and his father sang in gospel quartets. A black sharecropper on the family land called C. J. Allen taught Rich blues piano. He enrolled at Arkansas State College on a football scholarship and then transferred to the University of Arkansas as a music major after a football injury. He left after one semester to join the United States Air Force in 1953.
You're Living All Over Me is the second studio album by American alternative rock band Dinosaur Jr.. It was released on December 14, 1987, through SST Records.
Background
The album was named after a line uttered by frontman J Mascis while on tour with the band.
"Poledo" is unique from the rest of the album in that half of it is a lo-fi recording of Lou Barlow singing and playing ukulele, much like his own group Sebadoh, while the other half is a collection of sound collages and abstract noise pieces.
All songs written and composed by J Mascis, except as noted.
Release
The album was originally issued when the band were still known as Dinosaur, before a lawsuit forced the name change to Dinosaur Jr. The album was recalled by SST a few months after release, and new copies were printed crediting the band as Dinosaur Jr. The band made a music video for the song "Little Fury Things" that was directed by Jim Spring and Jens Jurgensen.

Would you go with me if we rolled down streets of fire?
Would you hold on to me tighter as the summer sun got higher?
If we roll from town to town and never shut it down
Would you go with me if we were lost in fields of clover?
Would we walk even closer until the trip was over?
And would it be okay if I didn't know the way?
If I gave you my hand, would you take it
And make me the happiest man in the world?
If I told you my heart couldn't beat one more minute without you, girl
Would you accompany me to the edge of the sea

Rich was a session musician for Judd Records, owned by Judd Phillips, the brother of Sun Records founder Sam Phillips. After recording some demos for Sam Phillips at Sun Records that Phillips didn't find commercial enough, and too jazzy, legend has it that he was given a stack of Jerry Lee Lewis records and told: "come back when you get that bad." A September 6, 2010 NPR airing of 1992 interview with Fresh Air host Terry Gross Charlie Rich tells the story himself of Bill Justis telling Rich's wife those exact words.[1] In 1958, Rich became a regular session musician for Sun Records playing on records by Lewis, Johnny Cash, Bill Justis, Warren Smith, Billy Lee Riley, Carl Mann, and Ray Smith. He also wrote songs for Lewis, Cash, and others.
His third single for the Sun subsidiary, Phillips International Records, was the 1960 Top 30 hit, "Lonely Weekends," noted for its Presley-like vocals. None of his seven follow-up singles was a success, though several of the songs became staples in his live set, including "Who Will the Next Fool Be," "Sittin' and Thinkin'," and "No Headstone on My Grave." These songs were often recorded by others to varying degrees of success, such as the Bobby Bland version of "Who Will the Next Fool Be."
Rich's career stalled, and he left the struggling Sun label in 1963, signing with a subsidiary of RCA Records, Groove. His first single for Groove, "Big Boss Man," was a minor hit, but again his Chet Atkins-produced follow-ups all stiffed. Rich moved to Smash Records early in 1965. Rich's new producer, Jerry Kennedy, encouraged the pianist to emphasize his country and rock & roll leanings, although Rich considered himself a jazz pianist and had not paid much attention to country music since his childhood. The first single for Smash was "Mohair Sam," an R&B-inflected novelty-rock number, and it became a Top 30 pop hit. Unfortunately again for Rich, none of his follow-up singles were successful. Rich was forced to change labels, moving over to Hi Records, where he recorded blue-eyed soul music and straight country, but none of his singles made a dent on the country or pop charts. One Hi Records track Love Is After Me from 1966 belatedly became a white soul favourite in the early 1970s.

Hey what's bubbling down under there? Why's it screaming?, what's unfair? Please excuse it for getting hard Let the (shellfish?) swell inside But how should I now watch it squirm? It's asking me what's that I learn Stay inside, pull me out of space Trip me sprinkling grey Stay and take my fate Thought I knew you, stuck out my hand The bit which I could understand It's a twisted feeling, staring bored It's time to burn, I hope I score Wait for me there, the gas might run Strike this little, be outdone Stay inside, pull me out of space Trip me sprinkling grey Stay and take my fate Take my fate Take my fate Take my fate And take my fate
