Yorkshire 3 is an English Rugby Union league at the ninth tier of the domestic competition. Club rugby in Yorkshire operates without promotion play-offs meaning that the top two teams are automatically promoted to Yorkshire 2 and the bottom two teams are relegated to Yorkshire 4.
Yorkshire (/ˈjɔːrkʃər/ or /ˈjɔːrkʃɪər/) is a historic county of Northern England and the largest in the United Kingdom. Due to its great size in comparison to other English counties, functions have been undertaken over time by its subdivisions, which have also been subject to periodic reform. Throughout these changes, Yorkshire has continued to be recognised as a geographical territory and cultural region. The name is familiar and well understood across the United Kingdom and is in common use in the media and the military, and also features in the titles of current areas of civil administration such as North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and East Riding of Yorkshire.
Within the borders of the historic county of Yorkshire are areas which are widely considered to be among the greenest in England, due to the vast stretches of unspoiled countryside in the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors and to the open aspect of some of the major cities. Yorkshire has sometimes been nicknamed "God's Own County" or "God's Own Country".
In the redistribution which took effect for the 1868 general election the two divisions were redistributed into three. Eastern West Riding of Yorkshire was created and the Northern and Southern divisions modified. Each of the three divisions returned two members.

Yorkshire has been on our list to explore more, ever since we visited York. So we have headed back for a Yorkshire travel series starting next week on the channel.
We will visit West Yorkshire, Oakworth and home to the Railway Children, take a train ride on the Keighley Worth Valley Railway and walk in the footsteps of the Railway Children.
Haworth was home to the famous Brontë Sisters, we immerse ourselves into their lives and the places they visited, finding inspiration for their world-famous novels. Even taking a hike up to Top Withens to see what Emily Brontë saw for inspiration to write Wuthering Heights.
Take a stroll along the canal at Hebdon Bridge and drive the Dales and visit Grassington a beautiful town that is the backdrop to Darrowby in the new series of All Creatures Great and Small.
Passing Thirsk, we pop in at the veterinary surgery where James Herriot was penned and it all started at James Herriot World.
Heatbeat was filmed in Groatlands in the North Yorkshire Moors so we could not resist paying a visit to the village and also seeing the station famous as Hogsmead Station in Harry Potter.
Castle Howard is next seen in Brideshead and Bridgeton more recently. This is a fantastic stately home with so much history that we wanted to share with you.
Finally, we arrive at the coast and Whitby where Bram Stoker found inspiration for Dracula with the views of Whitby Abbey. Ending our adventures in RobinHoods Bay a super cute fishing village with lots of surprises.
We hope you enjoy our travel adventures in Yorkshire.

This beautiful region of England is full of picture-perfect rolling hills, quaint stone cottages, sprawling country estates, and that distinct Yorkshire dialect. Why are country estates named Castles and Abbeys? What is The Shambles, and how did it get its name? Why is one of the largest medieval Gothic cathedrals in Europe in the small town of York?

There are some beautiful places to visit in Yorkshire. We drive the Yorkshire Dales to Grassington a beautiful Yorkshire town with a Yorkshire village vibe. Grassington is the fictional Yorkshire village of Darrowby in the latest reboot of All Creatures Great and Small.
We take a walk around this beautiful Yorkshire town and show you some of the filming locations as well as some history of Grassington. We take a short hike in the Yorkshire Dales at Linton Falls just 15 minutes away from Grassington square and drive through the Yorkshire Dales to other locations like the Ribblehead viaduct. It was a wonderful day out even if the weather was not always on our side. This will give you a small taste of the Yorkshire Dales and places to visit in Yorkshire.

What is the role of a Member of Parliament (MP) in Great Britain? How do MPs balance their allegiance to their party with their duties in their constituencies? What are the core values of the three main political parties in the UK? These questions and many more are addressed by MPs themselves in the two-part film “The British Political System.” In the documentary, Dr. Bob Beatty from the Washburn University Department of Political Science interviews eight members of the British Parliament and travels with three in their constituencies for a unique insight into the workings of the British Political System. Dr. Beatty’s research was partially funded by a grant from the Sweet Sabbatical Program at Washburn University, and the music for the film is performed by jazz artist Jim Beatty. Further assistance to the film was provided by Professor Richard Yates, Brenda White, Bertie Vickerstaff, Dave Brennan, Judith Smith, Mark Peterson, Stacey Beatty, Sandra Beak, Peter Beak, Cathy Tunnell, Alec Beatty and Keira Beatty. The film was shot on location in London, Cornwall, Rotherham, Sheffield, Wentworth, and North and South Yorkshire.
This video examines: The role and powers of devolved bodies in the UK, and the impact of this devolution on the UK. Considering devolution in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Devolution has certainly changed the political landscape of the UK but areas of concern such as the West Lothian question remain. This video is part of my series covering all the content for A Level Politics (Edexcel), subscribe to get notifications as more videos are added.
The Prime Minister will set out the traffic lights system in the House of Commons this afternoon, after chairing a Cobra meeting this morning to finalise the details, which are expected to come into force from Wednesday afternoon.
There are fears that some parts of the economy could be shut for as long as six months, although the measures will be reviewed on a rolling monthly basis.
