The four hour Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo passes through spectacular karst peaks scenery, making it top tourist attraction in China.
Also views over Yangshuo from the peak known as the TV tower, and from short boat trip from Fuli (down the river from Yangshuo) before sunset.

🇨🇳 Where Does My Wife Come From? (Countryside Life in China - GuangXi Province)
Meeting Li (in 2015) was one of the greatest gifts of my life, and pretty much since our first month together I have been excited to someday visit her hometown. NOW that we finally have a chance in 2023, and we also now have the means to capture all of these memories on camera, it is with some of that same huge excitement that I can now share this day with my friends and family.
As you can imagine, the things we see and learn about, the things we eat and enjoy, and the family memories we make could fill several videos - I only have this one and so I hope that it can convey my immense appreciation at the chance to finally visit XiaLi.
Enjoy this video and everything in it, and know how special of a day (for me!) this is, and how much it means to have these memories together.

Nanning Walking Tour, the Stunning Capital City of Guangxi, China | 4K HDR
This trip to Nanning in November really impressed me, and I fell in love with this unique city.
The people here are very kind and friendly. That afternoon, I was going to buy a banana on the side of the road, but the peddler gave me a banana for free. He told me that a banana is very cheap, and it doesn't matter if he gives me one.
I asked for directions here, and every time passers-by patiently guided me how to go, it made me feel very warm inside. I really, really like this city. In return, I shot a three-and-a-half-hour episode of the city as a thank you to the city.

------------------⭐⭐
City Introduction
------------------⭐⭐
Nanning, the capital city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is the political, economic and cultural center of the region.
It has the most prosperous economy in Southwest China, supplying an abundance of agricultural products to the whole Guangxi.
Bordering Vietnam, this city is neighbor to Guangzhou, close to Hong Kong and Macau, and faces Southeast Asia.
This advantageous location makes the city a commercial and communication center, opening China to Southeast Asia.
Pleasant climate endows Nanning with evergreen trees and fragrant flowers all year round, hence the name 'Green City.'
In such a beautiful land, more than 30 ethnic minority groups have been living harmoniously for 1,680 years.
Zhuang is the largest minority group of China. Over 90% of them live in Guangxi. Their history and ethnic culture add charm to the city.
Its beautiful subtropical scenery and exotic ethnic minority culture have been attracting millions of tourists for years.
Being a modern city, Nanning's accommodation and shopping are diverse and well developed for visitors.
Hotels and hostels of different standards can meet various needs. In the city's commercial center, supermarkets, department stores, specialty commodity streets, bookstores and other retail markets offer a variety of merchandise.
When night falls, colorful street lamps lit the city. Under the lights, the locals become active, visiting nightclubs, gyms, bars, and coffee houses. People of all ages can be seen walking or relaxing in the city's many squares or along the river.
To some extent, nightlife can reflect a city's outlook.
Though Nanning's nightlife cannot be compared to those of Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen and other highly developed cities, its citizens do enjoy their life in special ways.
Visitors can choose from a variety of nightlife to enjoy when they are there. Zhuang ethnic folk songs are sung in Min Ge Square and Wuxiang Square. Shinning stars are reflected in the tranquil Yongjiang River. Sitting on the square or taking a walk along the river is a good choice for those who want to unwind after a busy day at work.
Strolling through the streets decorated by colorful neon lights, visitors will be dazzled by the many food stalls, bars, nightclubs, gyms and coffee bars. These places are the favorites of the younger generation; while malls and department stores are filled with people shopping until 23:00 every night.
One recent trend is that more and more people, especially young men, choose to study even after a hard day's work. As a result, there are many schools and organizations offering evening classes in remedial English, computer training and a variety of other subjects. This will make this city a more educated and sophisticated city in the future.

NASA Captures What No One Was Supposed To See
Earth is just a tiny speck in the whole galaxy, and aside from the Milky Way, we know next to nothing about what else exists in outer space. Because of our limited capability and technology, we can’t really explore much further than what we have now. However, in the past years, we have known quite a few things that we didn’t know before, thanks to NASA’s efforts. Among these discoveries, there are those that will probably make you not want to sleep at night. From Black Holes to the Hand of God, here is NASA Captures What No One Was Supposed To See

Exposing Underground Alien Bases: CIA's Psychic UFO Hunters
During the 1960s and 70s, the United States and the Soviet Union fought the Cold War on many fronts. Some of these engagements were obvious, like the Cuban Missile Crisis and the proxy wars in Asia.
Other conflicts were not so obvious. In the 1970s, America and Russia engaged in a new type of warfare: psychic warfare.
The CIA was actively recruiting and training people with a natural talent for remote viewing. Remote viewing is projecting your consciousness to anywhere on Earth and beyond.
One remote viewer, entirely by accident, found himself at Mount Hayes in Alaska. Mount Hayes is in the middle of...

The Afterglow of the Big Bang: The Cosmic Microwave Background
The Cosmic Microwave Background [CMB] is the oldest light in the universe that we can see or detect. It was emitted only 380,000 years after the universe was born, back when it was a much less peaceful place. The microwave-band static is fundamentally linked to the Big Bang, and if we map it precisely enough, we can discover a wealth of information about the age, composition and structure of the universe.

SUMMARY
=======
A minor-planet moon is an astronomical object that orbits a minor planet as its natural satellite. As of February 2019, there are 352 minor planets known or suspected to have moons. Discoveries of minor-planet moons (and binary objects, in general) are important because the determination of their orbits provides estimates on the mass and density of the primary, allowing insights of their physical properties that is generally not otherwise possible. The first modern era mention of the possibility of an asteroid satellite was in connection with an occultation of the bright star Gamma Ceti by the asteroid 6 Hebe in 1977. The observer, amateur astronomer Paul D. Maley, detected an unmistakable 0.5 second disappearance of this naked eye star from a site near Victoria, Texas. Many hours later, several observations were reported in Mexico attributed to the occultation by 6 Hebe itself. Although not confirmed, this documents the first formally documented case of a suspected companion of an asteroid.

The story of how the Rolls Royce Merlin engine equipped the extraordinary P-51 Mustang and the evolution of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190's engine, all the way to the story of the first functioning centrifugal turbojet in April 1937, Frank Whittle's creation.
The Rolls-Royce Merlin is a British liquid-cooled V-12 piston aero engine of 27-litres (1,650 cu in) capacity. Rolls-Royce designed the engine and first ran it in 1933 as a private venture. Initially known as the PV-12, it was later called Merlin following the company convention of naming its four-stroke piston aero engines after birds of prey.
After several modifications, the first production variants of the PV-12 were completed in 1936. The first operational aircraft to enter service using the Merlin were the Fairey Battle, Hawker Hurricane, and Supermarine Spitfire. The Merlin remains most closely associated with the Spitfire and Hurricane, although the majority of the production run was for the four-engined Avro Lancaster heavy bomber. A series of rapidly-applied developments, brought about by wartime needs, markedly improved the engine's performance and durability. Starting at 1,000 horsepower (750 kW) for the first production models, most late-war versions produced just under 1,800 horsepower (1,300 kW), and the very latest version as used in the de Havilland Hornet over 2,000 horsepower (1,500 kW).
One of the most successful aircraft engines of the World War II era, some 50 versions of the Merlin were built by Rolls-Royce in Derby, Crewe, and Glasgow, as well as by Ford of Britain at their Trafford Park factory, near Manchester. A de-rated version was also the basis of the Rolls-Royce/Rover Meteor tank engine. Post-war, the Merlin was largely superseded by the Rolls-Royce Griffon for military use, with most Merlin variants being designed and built for airliners and military transport aircraft.
The Packard V-1650 was a version of the Merlin built in the United States. Production ceased in 1950 after a total of almost 150,000 engines had been delivered. Merlin engines remain in Royal Air Force service today with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, and power many restored aircraft in private ownership worldwide.
During his spare time on the squadron and at CFS Frank Whittle gave much thought to the application of the internal combustion turbine as a means to drive the aeroplane propeller. As others had before him, he soon discovered that the levels of component efficiency in any suitable gas turbine engine would be dauntingly difficult to achieve. And then, as he would say in later life, “the penny dropped” and he perceived the possibility of using the high velocity/high mass flow exhaust to obtain propulsion by reaction. In doing so, he was dismissing the altitude limitations of the internal combustion engine and the speed limitations of the propeller. A practical form of turbojet was borne. An entirely new horizon for aeronautics was about to materialize.
Whittle worked on the business of the design of an engine with a potential thrust sufficient to propel a small airplane at very high speeds and at very high altitudes. He settled on an arrangement that incorporated a two-stage centrifugal compressor and a two-stage (Curtis) turbine.
He showed his idea to the station commandant, Group Captain Baldwin, who, perceiving strategic importance and a need for secrecy, sent him to be interviewed by the engine division at the Air Ministry. They in turn, arranged for him to meet Dr A A Griffith at the Royal Aircraft Establishment (RAE). Griffith had started seriously considering gas turbines for propeller-driven aircraft as early as 1926. In a meeting of considerable consequence, Griffith rejected Whittle’s proposals and convinced the Ministry that the idea did not warrant any further attention. Unfortunately, Griffith had his own agenda. He would have known full well that he would be instructed to work on the turbojet should he admit any serious practicality. Despite this setback, Whittle went ahead and applied for a patent – granted in January 1930. However, as the President of the Air Council declared that there was no need for secrecy, it was published in 1931.

SUMMARY
=======
The fictional portrayal of our Solar System has often included planets, moons, and other celestial objects which do not actually exist in reality. Some of these objects were, at one time, seriously considered as hypothetical planets which were either thought to have been observed, or were hypothesized in order to explain certain celestial phenomena. Often such objects continued to be used in literature long after the hypotheses upon which they were based had been abandoned.
Other non-existent Solar System objects used in fiction have been proposed or hypothesized by persons with no scientific standing, while yet others are purely fictional and were never intended as serious hypotheses about the structure of the Solar System.

One remote viewer, entirely by accident, found himself at Mount Hayes in
Alaska. Mount Hayes is in the middle of nowhere. There's no civilization for miles. But something was calling him to the mountain.
Then he looked *inside* the mountain. There was a base hidden inside Mount Hayes. Then he saw - this was not a base built by humans.
When multiple sources confirmed the existence of the base, they soon realized: this was only the beginning.

The Cosmic Microwave Background [CMB] is the oldest light in the universe that we can see or detect. It was emitted only 380,000 years after the universe was born, back when it was a much less peaceful place. The microwave-band static is fundamentally linked to the Big Bang, and if we map it precisely enough, we can discover a wealth of information about the age, composition and structure of the universe.

https://wn.com/The_Afterglow_Of_The_Big_Bang_The_Cosmic_Microwave_Background
The Cosmic Microwave Background [CMB] is the oldest light in the universe that we can see or detect. It was emitted only 380,000 years after the universe was born, back when it was a much less peaceful place. The microwave-band static is fundamentally linked to the Big Bang, and if we map it precisely enough, we can discover a wealth of information about the age, composition and structure of the universe.
