World War 3 Illustrated panel discussion: “The World We Are Fighting For.”
World War 3 Illustrated is an annual comic book and graphics magazine. Founded in 1979, by Seth Tobocman and Peter Kuper, World War 3 Illustrated was among the first American magazines to treat comics as a medium for serious social commentary and journalism. WW3 isn’t about a war that might happen. It’s about wars ongoing– wars across the globe and in our own neighborhood, the wars we wage against each other and with ourselves. For over 40 years, the magazine has been a labor of love, run by a volunteer collective of political activists and artists, both first...

Zobaczcie reportaż o grupie rebelianckich rysowników komiksów z USA, wydających od lat pismo World War 3 Illustrated.
Mój przyjaciel Marcus, wcześniej prześladowany punk w NRD, potem dreadman - anarchista działający w legendarnym hamburskim squacie Rote Flora wymyślił, że ściągnie taką wystawę do Europy.
Docierał poprzez różnego rodzaju prace obrazkowe i czynił niezłe zamieszanie w głowach. To były czasy pozytywnego, konstruktywnego nastawienia na scenie hardcore punk.
Wystawa spotkała się ze sporym zainteresowaniem. W komentarzu wpisujcie miasta, gdzie ją widzieliście!

Edited by: Hilary Allison, Paula Hewitt Amram, and Sandy Jimenez
The acclaimed political anthology, still going strong after 30 years, stays as relevant as ever. This issue features comic book stories about young people and how they are confronting the “climates” they have inherited- social, political, cultural, and especially environmental. For the first time in this comic book magazine’s 35 year history, works written, drawn by, or with youth will be featured in the magazine along with stories by parents and children and collaborations between teachers and students. Rather than stories about the younger days of today's adults, World War 3 Illustrated #46: Youth & Climate Change will feature individual perspectives of today's youth: the ultimate inheritors of the world and future the adults of planet earth are laying the foundation for.
Featuring work by: Eric Drooker, Peter Kuper, Seth Tobocman, Kevin Pyle, Chris Cardinale, Jordan Worley, Carlo Quispe, Paula Hewitt Amram, Hilary Allison, Mark Graham and many more. -- a 144-page, b&w perfect bound comics anthology, 7" x 9"
