Lisa Helen Mitchell (born 22 March 1990) is an English-born Australian singer-songwriter who grew up in Albury, New South Wales. Mitchell currently lives in Sydney and is working on her third studio album with producer Eric J to be released in 2015. In March, Mitchell's latest single "Wah Ha" was remixed by electronic trio Seekae. Mitchell finished sixth in the 2006 season of Australian Idol. Her debut extended play, Said One to the Other (4 August 2007), topped iTunes in Australia and she signed with London-based publisher, Little Victories, a subsidiary of Sony/ATV. By 2008 Mitchell had relocated to the UK where she recorded her debut studio album, Wonder (31 July 2009), which peaked at No.6 on the ARIA Albums Chart. She won the 2009 Australian Music Prize of $30,000 for the album. Mitchell returned to Australia to live in Melbourne. Her second album, Bless This Mess (12 October 2012) reached No.7.
Early years
Lisa Helen Mitchell was born on 22 March 1990 in Canterbury, England. Her parents, Angus and Ruth, are both doctors; and she has a younger sister, Nicola. The Mitchell family had moved to Australia when she was three and she grew up near Albury on a 20 hectares (49 acres) farm. She attended The Scots School Albury. She began guitar lessons at 12, and leant towards the folk and rock genres. Mitchell later recalled her pivotal moment was seeing Missy Higgins perform "Scar" on a video hits program: "My sister called me out to watch it ... Missy was a really normal, cool chick making music as her own thing. I found that really inspiring".
Wonder is the first studio album by Australian pop and folk singer Lisa Mitchell, released 31 July 2009 in Australia by Scorpio Music. The album has yielded three singles; "Coin Laundry", "Clean White Love" and "Oh! Hark!".
Writing for the album began in 2007 where she collaborated with such artists as Ben Lee, Kevin Mitchell, Clare Bowditch and Katy Steele. At the end of 2007 Lisa moved to London to continue writing for the album collaborating with Ant Whiting, Ed Harcourt, Dann Hume and Sacha Skarbek. She returned to Australia in 2008 and re-recorded most of it with Evermore's band member Dann Hume, stating their versions had more energy and were a lot lighter – "they were positive and uplifting." Mitchell explains, "With Anthony, I was homesick by the time I got around to doing the vocals."
Wonder had commercial success in Australia. It debuted at number six on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart on 10 August 2009, becoming Mitchell's first top ten album. The album spent three weeks in the top ten and twenty-four weeks in the top fifty, re-entering three times. The Australian Recording Industry Association awarded the album a platinum certification for shipping 70,000 copies and became the fifty-sixth highest selling album in Australia for 2009.Wonder was nominated for one ARIA Award at the twenty-third ARIA Awards in 2009 for "Breakthrough Artist – Album", but lost the award to Ladyhawke by Ladyhawke.

Bass Armstrong(バース・アームストロング,Bāsu Āmusutorongu) is a retired professional wrestler and Tina's overprotective father. He is also the widower of Alicia Armstrong, who died of a disease when Tina was only six years old. He disapproves of Tina's aspirations of wanting to be a model (DOA2), a Hollywood actress (DOA3) and a rock star (DOA4). Consequently, he enters the DOA tournaments to put an end to her fame-seeking, only to fail at each attempt. In the fourth tournament, it is revealed that he intends to win so he would have enough money to enter the "Hyper Battle Grand Prix", which he then loses after seeing Tina's picture on a billboard and crashes into it after losing control of his bike. Like Tina in the English versions of the game, he, too, speaks with a Southern accent.

Lisa Mitchell - Welcome to the Afternoon (full album)
Lisa Mitchell is an Australian musician who infamously came in sixth during the 2006 season Australian Idol. She is quite an amazing musician who my friends and I jammed out to in college. This album collects many of the outtakes from her first album Wonder, including songs from her EP Said One To The Other, and Welcome to the Afternoon (obviously where the title comes from), as well as outtakes/demos from the Deluxe edition of Wonder. I feel that some of these cuts are among Lisa Mitchell's most experimental, and my favorite song by her is Time Means Nothing At All. Enjoy!

About the blashco music archive: over the years I have collected much music, some of which, surprisingly is not available online for streaming or purchase. There is no need for these lovely songs to collect digital dust on a personal hard drive, so I have packaged them into full album videos!
