The story follows a group of men traveling to a duck hunt in the Northwest. One of them, Charlie, is hoping to travel and forget the grief he has over his son's death in Vietnam. When he learns a young member of his party, David, is a deserter, Charlie goes berserk and hunts David.
Wolf Lake (also known as Gooch Aa) is located in Yukon, Canada near Teslin. The lake is surrounded by tundra and wooded lowlands and mountains. The lake is also commonly fished for its lake trout. In 1998 Parks Canada, the Teslin Tlingit Council, and the Teslin Renewable Resources Council held a discussion about a feasibility study for a national park in the area. Later in 1998 the Yukon government issued the Protected Areas Strategy including Wolf Lake as a protected area. The Yukon Bureau of Statistics took a survey in the area to find the views of the community of the plan for a national park, at the request of the Teslin Renewable Resources Council. They found the plan for a national park had strong support but some disapproval as some feared the park would interfere with tradition.
Wolf Lake Lodge is located on the West shore of the lake in a secluded bay. Visitors to the lodge have the luxury of uninterrupted peace and tranquility during their stay. Lake trout up to 60lbs are caught in Wolf Lake, along with Northern pike, Arctic Grayling and whitefish. Abundant moose, eagles, caribou and birds make this area a nature lover's paradise, made extra special by the occasional sighting of wolves, lynx and bears.
Wolf Lake is an 804-acre (325.4ha)lake that straddles the Indiana and Illinois state line near Lake Michigan. It is smaller than it was prior to settlement by people of European descent because of infilling for development around the edges. Despite years of environmental damage caused by heavy industries, transportation infrastructure, urban runoff and filling of wetlands, it is one of the most important biological sites in the Chicago region.
Wolf Lake was once connected by an open channel to Lake Michigan on the Indiana side of the lake, but this channel was cut off for development on its northern side. Indianapolis Boulevard (U.S. 41) and various railroad and industrial facilities are located in former wetlands on the northeastern side of the lake where it once connected to Lake Michigan. There are currently proposals to reopen a channel between Wolf Lake and Lake Michigan. The Illinois portion of the lake consists of five, interconnected impoundments separated by dikes. The dikes were constructed in the late 1950s so that separate portions of the lake could be drained for the purpose of dredging for fill to use in the construction of the Chicago Skyway. The western impoundments are now part of the William W. Powers State Recreation Area and are drained by Indian Creek to the Calumet River. The Wolf Lake water level determines the drainage to Lake Michigan because the connecting Calumet River flows southward during elevated levels and northward during lowered levels. The Indiana portion of the lake consists of three, interconnected impoundments that are also separated by dikes. The longest dike, running roughly parallel to State Line Road and traversing the entire length of the lake, contains railroad tracks belonging to the Indiana Harbor Belt.
Wolf Lake is an Americantelevision series that originally aired on CBS. Wolf Lake follows a pack of werewolves living in a Seattle suburb. Nine regular episodes were produced, but only five aired before the series was canceled; the full series later aired on UPN.

Summary
Seattle policeman John Kanin proposes to his girlfriend, Ruby Wilder, and she accepts. However, as she gets into her car, she is attacked and all Kanin finds is a severed hand. He travels to her hometown of Wolf Lake to find some answers. However, his experiences there raise even more questions. What John doesn't know is that some of the inhabitants of Wolf Lake are actually werewolves. The werewolves, or the ones who survive the change, live on the "Hill" and enjoy special treatment, separated from the normal humans.
