Sannie Charlotte Carlson (born 11 April 1970), better known as Whigfield and also as Naan, is a Danish born, Italian-based Eurodance singer best known for the song "Saturday Night", which was a hit in 1994. She worked with Italian producer Larry Pignagnoli. ""Saturday Night" entered the Top 5 in Italy as well as in other European markets in October 1994. Her single "Another Day" also managed to peak at No.3 in Italy where she was then based. "The single "Another Day" & "Think of You" also did well in a number of other markets where it entered the Top-10 including UK, Switzerland, Norway and her native Denmark.
Carlson was born in Skælskør, Denmark. She spent several years in Africa as a child before returning to her native country. Before singing Carlson worked as model and studied music. Carlson played in a jazz duo before she met the producer Larry Pignagnoli and took on the name "Whigfield" as a tribute to her piano teacher.
Whigfield is the debut studio dance album by Danish artist Whigfield, released in June 1995. Many countries received the first album in 1995, while Australia, it was 1997. In Japan, it was titled "Saturday Night - Let's Whiggy Dance." The Netherlands received a 2 disc version in where the first CD contained remixes and a bonus song, while the second disc featured the album. In Canada, it featured three additional remixes, the latter being the Megamix.
In Singapore it was called Sexy Eyes - The Album.
In South Korea it was called Big Time - The Album.
In Taiwan it was called Superbox - Super Hits & Remix Collection. It features two discs, one including the tracks from the Whigfield album as well as the tracks Junto A Ti and Gimme Gimme. The second disc included various remixes and had its own cover titled Superbox - Remix Collection.
Some versions (in particular Special Editions) contained Whigfield's versions of "Last Christmas" and "It's Alright".
4 is the fourth studio album by Danish eurodance musician Whigfield, released in May 2002.
The album was re-released in 2004 after the release of "Was a Time" in Germany and was called Was A Time - The Album. The album contains the single "Was a Time", as well as the tracks previously on 4. It also includes a bonus DVD which features music videos for some of the singles Whigfield has released. A DVD was also released with Was A Time - The Album as a bonus CD, the DVD is called Was A Time - The Essential Whigfield and features the same tracks and music videos as below.

Sannie Charlotte Carlson (born 11 April 1970), better known as Whigfield and also as Naan, is a Danish born, Italian-based Eurodance singer best known for the song "Saturday Night", which was a hit in 1994. She worked with Italian producer Larry Pignagnoli. ""Saturday Night" entered the Top 5 in Italy as well as in other European markets in October 1994. Her single "Another Day" also managed to peak at No.3 in Italy where she was then based. "The single "Another Day" & "Think of You" also did well in a number of other markets where it entered the Top-10 including UK, Switzerland, Norway and her native Denmark.
Carlson was born in Skælskør, Denmark. She spent several years in Africa as a child before returning to her native country. Before singing Carlson worked as model and studied music. Carlson played in a jazz duo before she met the producer Larry Pignagnoli and took on the name "Whigfield" as a tribute to her piano teacher.
