Walter James "Wally" LewisAM (born 1 December 1959 in Hawthorne, Queensland) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer and coach. Currently a television commentator of the sport, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest rugby league players of all time. His time as a player and coach was followed by a career as a newsreader for the Nine Network.
Nicknamed The King and also The Emperor of Lang Park, Lewis represented Queensland in thirty-one State of Origin games from 1980 to 1991, and was captain for thirty of them. He also represented Australia in thirty-three international matches from 1981 to 1991 and was national team captain from 1984 to 1989. Lewis is perhaps best known for his State of Origin performances, spearheading Queensland's dominance in that competition throughout the 1980s. He captained at State of Origin level 30 times, winning a record 8 man of the match awards.
Wally Lewis (born in Bakersfield, California, United States) is an American country-rockabilly singer and songwriter. His best known tune "Kathleen" reached number 15 on the U.S. pop chart in 1957.
A lewis (sometimes called a lewisson) is one of a category of lifting devices used by stonemasons to lift large stones into place with a crane, chain block, or winch. It is inserted into a specially prepared hole, or seating, in the top of a stone, directly above its centre of mass. It works by applying principles of the lever and utilises the weight of the stone to act on the long lever-arms which in turn results in a very high reaction force and friction where the short lever-arms make contact with the stone inside the hole and thereby prevents slipping.
Etymology
The name lewis may come from the Latinlevo -avi, -atum meaning to levitate or lift, but the Oxford English Dictionary Online states, "the formation and the phonology are not easily explained on this hypothesis", preferring "origin obscure", and speculating that the term may derive from a personal name. The Romans used the lewis. The specially shaped hole that is shaped to fit the device is known as a lewis hole. Lewis holes in the uppermost masonry coursings are neatly repaired with matching indented plugs after the stone has been set in place.

Lyrics:
Kathaleen
Oh, oh my baby's name is Kathaleen
All the others thinks she's quite the thing
Lovin' dolly Kathaleen, aha
Lovely dream
Oh yes my baby is a lovely dream
When you see her you'll know what I mean
Lovin' dolly Kathaleen, aha
Lovin' dolly Kathaleen
Jukebox playing baby
Bobbysocks her maybe
All these things and then some more
But she's the one I adore
Magazines
Cokes and candy make the perfect queen
Even in a pair of old blue jeans
Kathaleen
(ahh, ahh)
Kathaleen
(ahh, ahh)
Kathaleen
(ahh, ahh, ahh)
Some may find her tragic
Strangely filled by magic
Other loves have died and gone
But mine for hers still lingers on
