WWE Battleground is a professional wrestling event produced by the WWE, a Connecticut–based promotion, and broadcast live and available through pay-per-view (PPV). The event was established in 2013, debuting in October on WWE's pay-per-view calendar. In 2014, the event moved to the July slot of WWE's pay-per-view calendar.
Seven matches were contested at the event, with one match contested on the pre-show. In the main event, the match between WWE World Heavyweight ChampionSeth Rollins and Brock Lesnar ended in a disqualification when The Undertaker made his unexpected return (and first appearance on pay-per-view in WWE since his WrestleMania 31 match against Bray Wyatt) and attacked Lesnar. This was initially reported as a "no contest", but the following night on Raw, Lilian Garcia announced Brock Lesnar as the winner by disqualification.
The event received 76,000 buys (excluding WWE Network views), slightly down on the previous year's 99,000 buys.
The main focus of the game is to bring more realism and authenticity to the series with many new features, breaking away from the arcade-like gameplay that earlier games in the SmackDown! series possessed. As well as the addition of the new Buried Alive and Fulfill Your Fantasy matches, the game also included two new modes: General Manager and Create-An-Entrance.
This game is the first time a game in the SmackDown! series that was published for a handheld console, as it was released on the PlayStation Portable. It is also the last game in the series to be released exclusively for the PlayStation consoles. It is the best selling game for the PlayStation 2 console out of the series.
Each wrestler now has two fighting style categories, one primary and one secondary. Each fighting style has its advantages and disadvantages in each particular match type. There are eight styles altogether: high-flyer, hardcore, submission artist, powerhouse, showman, brawler, dirty and technical. In addition, creative manager of THQ Cory Ledesma stated early in production that he planned on having numerous wrestler animations redone.
WWE '13 is a professional wrestlingvideo game developed by Yuke's and published by THQ (later by 2K Sports) for the PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360. It is the second game in the WWE (now WWE 2K) series and the 14th overall in the combined series. It is the sequel to WWE '12 and is succeeded by WWE 2K14. It was released on October 30, 2012 in North America and November 2, 2012 in United Kingdom. It is also the final WWE game to be published by THQ before the company's demise in January 2013, thus ending the WWE/THQ relationship after 13 years.
The game focuses on the Attitude Era of WWE, replacing its Road to WrestleMania Mode with an Attitude Era Mode where the player plays through the Attitude Era in six different storylines. The game also brings back its Predator Technology engine, adding in a new audio system called WWE Live. The game is said to be the second phase of a "Revolution" in WWE video games, with cover athlete CM Punk taking charge. Following its release, the game received favorable reviews and was nominated for the Spike Video Game Award for Best Individual Sports Game. This is also the last WWE game to be released on the Wii and (so far) on a Nintendo console, as the sequel WWE 2K14 and beyond have only been released for Sony and Microsoft consoles. The online servers for WWE '13 were shut down in December 2014.
In January 2011, the group began work on their second studio album with previous songwriter and producer Steve Mac. In February 2011, it was revealed the group would be releasing the official Comic Relief single for 2011. In April 2011, the group embarked on their first headline tour, playing 16 dates in 12 different UK cities. The tour was in support of their debut album The Wanted but whilst on tour, the group previewed the song, "Lightning" from their new album. The track was co-written by the band and Ed Drewett. Max George confirmed on 28 September that the album was complete and the following day, Nathan Sykes confirmed the album would be released with the title Battleground.
In March 2012, Billboard reported that Battleground was "slated to arrive stateside this fall" as the band's second US release, after their debut EP. This did not happen, however, and instead their first album to be released in the US will be their third overall album, Word of Mouth.
The show marks Hulu's first foray into original scripted programming. It premiered online on February 14, 2012.

The series chronicles the inner workings of a Democratic Party primary campaign for a U.S. Senate seat in Wisconsin. Led by campaign manager Chris "Tak" Davis, the team battles against corrupt politicians and staff infighting while campaigning for a distant third-place candidate.
In October 2010, Fox gave a script commitment to the series, which was being written by J. D. Walsh and executive-produced by Walsh and Marc Webb. Fox later passed on making the show. Walsh shot a 20-minute pilot funded by family members. He said no television network was willing to air the series due to its politics-related theme.Hulu later stepped in to produce the series.
