093 Keyword Disambiguation Using Transformers and Clustering to Build Cleaner Knowledge - NODES2022
Natural language processing is an indispensable toolkit to build knowledge graphs from unstructured data. However, it comes with a price. Keywords and entities in unstructured texts are ambiguous - the same concept can be expressed by many different linguistic variations. The resulting knowledge graph would thus be polluted with many nodes representing the same entity without any order. In this session, we show how the semantic similarity based on transformer embeddings and agglomerative clustering can help in the domain of academic disciplines and research fields and how Neo4j improves the browsing experience of this knowledge graph.

Frenzy Decepticon Hacking and Stealing data from Air One
The name or term "Frenzy" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Frenzy (disambiguation). Frenzy is a Decepticon-allied Mini-Con from the Transformers portion of the live-action film series continuity family. (thumbnail) "They are all laser-guided and I get CRAZY if you touch them!" Frenzy is small, sneaky, skittering, and single-minded. His hyper-active twitching and lightning-speed gibbering in his own tongue belie incredible espionage and sabotage skills, but it is in causing chaos and carnage that Frenzy truly excels. This creepy little abomination is the best there is at what he does and approaches his tasks with a level of sinister glee that makes it hard to deter him from a course of action once he has settled upon it. Frenzy's ability to access secret information stored by Earth's humans provides the Decepticons with a distinct edge. In the event he is killed in battle, the information stored in his memory core could make him just as valuable as the AllSpark itself.[1] However, Frenzy is exceptionally hard to kill because possesses a decentralized, modular nervous system. In essence, it means that even if he suffers critical injuries such as decapitation (which seems to be a not-infrequent problem for him), he can continue to function. Frenzy is also equipped with a hyper-reactive trans-scanning and reformatting system that allows him to totally reconfigure his alternate mode with ridiculous speed, meaning that he can be something one minute, and something completely different the next. Although this is something which he does regularly anyway, it also works regardless of what state of disrepair he may be in, making it quite the challenge to keep track of him.
Transformers is a series of American science fiction action films based on the Transformers franchise, which began in the 1980s. Michael Bay has directed the first five films: Transformers, Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon, Age of Extinction, and The Last Knight.

Project Summary: Transformer is a novel attention-based architecture in NLP field. In many
NLP tasks, it outperforms RNN or CNN since the computation in the self-attention layer is
parallel. The paper Attention Is All You Need first introduce the transformer model. We
think there are two key points of Transformer we can focus on.
The first one is self-attention mechanism. Transformer applies the self-attention, also
called intra-attention. In transformer self-attention layer, for each input
embedded vector, transformer will create its corresponding query, key and value vectors.
Then, the attention weights with other embedded vector in the input sentence will be
computed by the scaled dot product using query and key vectors. Finally, the summation over
all weighted value vector will be the output for each input embedded vector. For us, it is not
so straightforward to think why should create three different vectors i.e., query, key and value
vectors, to compute the attention weights.
Our main goal of this project is to understand this self-attention mechanism both
theoretically and via experiments. We will also complete a report on different attention
mechanism in NLP tasks and comparison between Transformer and RNN in NLP tasks.
The second key point in transformer is the multi-head attention. Multi-head attention, consist of several self-attention heads and concatenate each heads’
output to get the final one. The reason for using multi-head might be to get multiple
representation subspace of input words. However, just like other deep learning models, there
are likely exists redundancy in multi-head attention. One
potential direction (not important as the previous one) is to check whether each head learns
specific pattern or not, and try to interpret the need for using multi-head and each head’s
linguistic interpretability.
Besides the report on attention mechanism, we will also apply transformer model on
HW5 problem to check and analyze the performance of self-attention-based model on realtime signal processing.
Dataset: For text classification task, we will use IMDB or SST datasets. If needed, we will also
conduct some sequence to sequence NLP task using some machine translation datasets, like
WMT'14 English-German data. Also, we will use HW5 audio as our datasets to do real-time signal
processing
