John Henry "Doc" Holliday (August 14, 1851 – November 8, 1887) was an Americangambler, gunfighter, dentist, and a good friend of gambler and lawman Wyatt Earp. He is most well-known for his role as a temporary deputy marshal in the events leading up to and following the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral.
At age 20, Holliday earned a degree in dentistry from the Pennsylvania College of Dental Surgery. He set up practice in Atlanta, Georgia, but he was soon diagnosed with tuberculosis, the same disease that had claimed his mother when he was 15. Hoping the climate in the American Southwest would ease his symptoms, he moved to that region and became a gambler, a reputable profession in that day. Over the next few years, he had a number of armed confrontations that earned him a reputation as a deadly gunman. While in Texas, he saved Wyatt Earp's life and they became friends. In 1880, he joined the Earps in Prescott, Arizona, and then in Tombstone. On October 26, 1881, after many months of threats and attacks on his character, Holliday was deputized by Tombstone city marshal Virgil Earp. The lawmen attempted to disarm five Cowboys, which turned into the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral.
John "Doc" Holliday (born April 21, 1957) is an American football coach and former player. He currently is the head coach at Marshall.
Early life
Holliday was born and raised in Hurricane, West Virginia. He graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education in 1979, then graduated with a master's degree in 1981 in Safety Management.
Holliday was also a three-year letterwinner while playing linebacker at West Virginia.
Coaching career
First stint at West Virginia
In 1979, Holliday became a graduate assistant for the West Virginia Mountaineers football team. Then in 1981, he became a part-time assistant until 1982. Holliday became wide receivers coach in 1983 and remained at that position until 1989.
In 1990, Holliday became the inside linebackers coach. He remained coaching the linebackers until 1992. In 1993, he returned to coaching the receivers. In 1995, Holliday was promoted to assistant head coach, while still maintaining receivers.
Doc Holliday is a radio personality. His career began during high school in early 1979 in New Jersey. He was the anchor of the Doc & Johnny Morning Show on WXXL-FM in Orlando, Florida, for over 17 years, before resigning in March 2007. Also, Doc is the former arena announcer for the Orlando Predators of the Arena Football League.
On March 5, 2007, as the show entered its 17th year, co-host Johnny Magic announced that Doc was moving on. In early May 2007, another core member of the morning show, Grace Vasquez, resigned citing differences with the stations management. Their morning show had won various awards for its outreach to the community.
Ringo was born in Greensfork, Indiana, of distant Dutch ancestry. His family moved to Liberty, Missouri in 1856. He was a contemporary of Frank and Jesse James, who lived nearby in Kearney, Missouri, and became a cousin of the Younger brothers through marriage when his aunt Augusta Peters Inskip married Coleman P. Younger, uncle of the outlaws.
In 1858, the family moved to Gallatin, Missouri where they rented property from the father of John W. Sheets (who became the first "official" victim of the James-Younger gang when they robbed the Daviess County Savings & Loan Association in 1869).
On July 30, 1864, his family was in Wyoming en route to California. Johnny's father Martin Ringo stepped out of their wagon holding a shotgun which accidentally discharged, killing him. The buckshot entered the right side of Martin's face and exited the top of his head. Fourteen-year-old Johnny and his family buried Martin on a hillside alongside the trail.
Johnny Ringo (born Bradley Miller, 1961, Jones Town, Kingston, Jamaica, died Kingston 1 July 2005) was a reggae/dancehalldeejay active from the late 1970s to the early 1990s.
Biography
Ringo worked in a Kingston record shop, where he met Welton Irie, the two enjoying a long association since. He worked as an operator on the Soul Express and Rippa-Tonesound systems, before being given the chance to record in the late 1970s, and releasing his first single with "Trouble Never Set Like Rain". His recordings became popular in Jamaica, with slack lyrics proving particularly popular. Two notable examples are "Two Lesbians" and "Push Lady Push". In 1982, he had an international reggae hit with "Dub and Lef", which was followed by further Jamaican hits with tracks such as "Pain a Back", "Nah Fight Over Woman", and "Married for the Opportunity". He also contributed the opening track to the album Superstar Yellowman Has Arrived With Toyan in 1982. He continued to work on sound systems, Lees Unlimited and Ray Symbolic's Hi Fi, the latter touring internationally with Ringo, Squiddly Ranking, and Welton Irie. He contributed to some of the early live dancehall albums in 1983 and 1984. While touring the UK, he recorded a brace of singles for Fashion Records, and recorded with Sugar Minott. He continued to record until the early 1990s, sometimes credited simply as Ringo.

This is your time. Your life's flashing before your eyes And soon enough You will realize, This is goodbye, But what if I gave you a chance? You just have to sell your soul! Look around, what do you see? The choices you never had the guts to make? I'm sorry you never could be, The man that you wanted but regret is wasted on me! I can feel air inside my lungs again... All because of you. I can rebuild my life and start again... All because of you. This feelings amazing I know, but, be careful You know not what you wish for. Granted life again, but now you've cheated death. There's no where to run... When you run from yourself! But fear not, for as long as you live you are mine, And even in death you will find! You've lived with regret for so long But now is your chance to change what has been wrong! I can feel air inside my lungs again... All because of you. I can rebuild my life and start again... All because of you. And I know that my destiny, Wasn't written in the stars... It was just a part of satellites. And its all because of you, Yeah it's all because of you! Don't ever trust the devil, BITCH! I never wanted this, It's time that you suffer the consequence. I should've known my time was up! I gave you your time. Now your soul is mine! I can feel air inside my lungs, I'm dead! All because of... YOU! All because of you! I can feel air inside my lungs, I'm DEAD! All because of you. I can't rebuild my life or start again.
