List of recurring alien characters in Stargate SG-1
This is a list of recurring alien characters in the science fiction television series Stargate SG-1.
Abydonians
The Abydonians are the people whom Colonel O'Neill's team encounters on another planet in the Stargate film. They are the slaves of the alien Ra and are descendants from ancient Egyptians brought through the Stargate to mine the fictional mineral naqahdah. The film gives the location of their homeworld—named Abydos in SG-1's pilot episode "Children of the Gods"—as the Kaliem galaxy "on the far side of the known universe" (a vague reference to the constellation Caelum, perhaps) in the film; and as the closest planets to Earth in the Stargate network in "Children of the Gods". In the film, O'Neill and Daniel Jackson inspire the Abydonians and their leader, Kasuf, to rise up against Ra. The military personnel return to Earth, while Daniel falls in love with Kasuf's daughter Sha're and remains behind. In "Children of the Gods", set a year after the film, the Goa'uld Apophis attacks Abydos, abducting Sha're and her brother Skaara to serve as hosts for his queen Amonet and son Klorel. In season 6's "Full Circle", the Goa'uld Anubis destroys Abydos, but Oma Desala helps its entire population Ascend.
The Stargate Asterism or Stargate Cluster is an asterism in the constellation Corvus consisting of 6 stars, also known as STF 1659. The stars form vertices of two nested triangles, resembling a portal device featured in the Buck Rogers science fiction TV series.
Stargate is a 1995 pinball game, designed by Ray Tanzer and Jon Norris and released by Gottlieb. The game is based on the film Stargate. It has many modes, including several multi-ball modes.
Description
A "pyramid" is the main feature of this game. It has a top that opens by raising and lowering. A moving "Glidercraft" ship will be extended from the pyramid when the pyramid is open. The "Glidercraft" will zigzag left-right, in front of the pyramid, with about 90 degrees of horizontal movement.
This game also features two "Horus" targets. These are basically the reverse of drop targets: they are targets that, rather than dropping down into the playfield when hit, rise up into the air. Each target is attached to a large "Horus" structure, which is itself attached to a pivot that can raise and lower. These Horus structures drop down to block the player from reaching two key shots. The game occasionally raises them, allowing the player to temporarily make the shots. Part of the development involved having actor James Spader record the voice parts of Daniel Jackson.
The story follows some of the major plot points of the Stargate film, but also creates many new side stories. The game begins in the deserts of Abydos shortly after the mission team has landed using the stargate. The mission is to collect samples and then return to Earth, but Colonel Jack O’Neil has also secretly brought along a nuclear bomb to seal the stargate if the mission team discovers a threat. A sandstorm has separated Colonel O’Neil from his mission team, and the bomb he has brought along is missing. Daniel Jackson, the Egyptology specialist of the mission team, informs him that the team's basecamp was attacked by Ra. The local inhabitants of Abydos, the Nagadans, have helped the team escape the attack, but the supplies were left behind in caves. O’Neil will have to find the supplies, the bomb, and seven Egyptian hieroglyphs scattered throughout the area, the last needed to work the stargate and get his men home.

THE TOLLAN: One of the most advanced human civilizations encountered by Stargate Command, the Tollan became an important ally of Earth. With a demeanor that often comes across as cold or arrogant, they held any species with a lesser level of technology to be “inferior.”
While they maintained good relations with Earth, the Tollan refused to share their advanced technologies – until finally they were confronted by a superior foe ...

Only one Tollan, Narim, shows an active interest in life on earth, especially in captain Samantha Carter and the cat Schrodinger she gives him, explaining his planet was destroyed after the Tolan supplied an unlimited energy source to a primitive neighboring planet which abused it for a cataclysmic weapon.
