MARCUS AGRIPPA - The Man who made Augustus Roman Emperor
Marcus Agrippa is the emperor who was never emperor. The man who made Augustus and stood by his side, facilitating the longest and one of the most successful reigns in Rome's history.
Born to a poor equestrian family out in the sticks, he enlisted in the army and caught the eye of none other than Julius Caesar. Sent off to study in Greece with his then-nephew Octavian, Agrippa's promise was such that he never left the future emperor's side.
He became an incredibly successful military leader on land and sea, and without him, Augustus would probably have never beaten Marc Antony to rise to power. As admiral and general, none could best him.

The Real Spartacus: The Slave Rebellion That Shook Rome and Defied an Empire
Spartacus, the legendary gladiator, led the most famous slave rebellion against the Roman Empire, shaking its foundations. Once a Thracian warrior, he was enslaved and forced into the brutal gladiator games, but he refused to accept his fate. Alongside thousands of other enslaved people, he escaped, built an army, and challenged the mighty Roman legions. His rebellion became one of the most significant uprisings in history, forcing Rome to confront its reliance on slavery. Despite early victories, Rome’s greatest generals, including Crassus, ultimately crushed the revolt. Yet, Spartacus' story inspired generations, proving that even the most powerful empires can be challenged. This documentary explores the real h...

He lived a dangerous but rich life, and beyond his military victories did much in service of the Roman people, providing fresh water, food and quality infrastructure.

Despite early victories, Rome’s greatest generals, including Crassus, ultimately crushed the revolt. Yet, Spartacus' story inspired generations, proving that even the most powerful empires can be challenged. This documentary explores the real history behind Spartacus' battle for freedom, from his rise as a leader to his final stand. Join us as we uncover one of history’s greatest rebellions!
