The "three angels' messages" is an interpretation of the messages given by three angels in Revelation14:6–12. The Seventh-day Adventist church teaches that these messages are given to prepare the world for the second coming of Jesus Christ, and sees them as a central part of its own mission. (Find out more about the beliefs of the church.)
Messages
The Three Angels' messages of Revelation 14 are highly significant to the Seventh-day Adventist Church. In the SDA Church's official mission statement, the Three Angels' Messages are prominent:
The mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is to proclaim to all peoples the everlasting gospel in the context of the Three Angels' messages of Revelation 14:6–12.
Adventist interpretations
The Seventh-day Adventist Church has traditionally believed that it is the remnant church of Bible prophecy, and that its mission is to proclaim the three angels' messages which it used in its signs and logos, although they have changed it.
Three Angels Broadcasting Network, or 3ABN, is an American nonprofit television and radio network broadcasting Christian and health-oriented programming, based in West Frankfort, Illinois. 3ABN is available throughout the United States, with an expanded international audience. It is an independent non-denominational ministry; however, it supports the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Programming
The focus of 3ABN's programming is a blend of family and social programs (including divorce recovery programs, marriage, and children and family issues), health and lifestyle (including drug and alcohol rehabilitation, exercise, healthy cooking (with an emphasis on dairy-free vegetarian, organic food), natural home remedies, stop smoking, and weight loss), gospel music, and a wide variety of Bible-based presentations (including Bible study, church history, seminars and events, and worship services).
3ABN's program lineups include both original (3ABN-produced) and third-party programs. 3ABN Proclaim!, 3ABN Latino, 3ABN Latino Radio, 3ABN Radio, 3ABN Russia, 3ABN Russia Radio, 3ABN Français, 3ABN Australia (and 3ABN Australia Radio) 3ABN Kids Network (formerly SonBeam Channel) and 3ABN Dare to Dream Network each contain their own original programs not included on the main 3ABN television network, and Radio 74 leases audio subchannel space on 3ABN's digital stations. As of early 2009, 3ABN's main TV channel had 69% original programming; 3ABN Latino had 67% original programming; and 3ABN Russia had 100% original programming.
God loves us so much that He has sent not one, not two, but three messages of warning to every person living in these last days of Earth’s history. In His mercy, God pleads with every human being as He calls out to each one of us with His love. “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).

God has a special mission in every age. The specifics may vary, but the ultimate goal stays the same – to bring people into a saving relationship with God for eternity.
Over 2 500 years ago, God used Daniel to carry out His prophecies during his time. But these prophecies extend into our time and beyond. They are identified in Revelation 10 as a "little book" sealed until the end. Verses 8 and 9 say, "Go, take the little book which is open...take and eat it; and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth."
It traces back to the great disappointment in 1844, marking the end of the 2300-year prophecy concerning the cleansing of the sanctuary and the investigative judgment.
It was a bitter disappointment when Jesus did not come as the Advent believers had expected. But little did they know their work was not yet complete as there was another message to be given to the whole world.
As you know, this message came to be known as the Three Angels' Messages, divided into three parts outlined in Revelation 14:6-12. The first and second messages were given by the early Adventist believers. The third one would be given before the second coming of Christ. And the combination of these messages would be the final appeal of God to the world.
Now, our mission as God's remnant church is made clear as stated here: "In a special sense, Seventh-day Adventists have been set in the world as watchmen and light-bearers. To them has been entrusted the last warning for a perishing world. On them is shining wonderful light from the word of God. They have been given a work of the most solemn import—the proclamation of the first, second, and third angels' messages. There is no other work of so great importance. They are to allow nothing else to absorb their attention...The world is to be warned, and God's people are to be true to the trust committed to them" (9T 19).
Since God entrusted us to proclaim these messages to the world, we must understand them first before sharing. As such, Pastor Wilson encourages you to meet in your respective places to participate in this Week of Prayer.
As the conflict between truth and error intensifies and the end draws near, God's faithful ones must carry on with the mission, leaving the results with Him. Their faces will be "lighted up, hastening from place to place to proclaim the message from heaven...The message will be carried not so much by argument as by the deep conviction of the Spirit of God...the truth is seen in its clearness, and the honest children of God sever the bands which have held them...Notwithstanding the agencies combined against the truth, a large number take their stand upon the Lord's side" (GC 612).
Now is the time to study these messages, pray for God's leading, and commit ourselves fully into His hands. Together, let's say, "I will go to proclaim the Three Angels' Messages!"
May God bless you as you spend time with Him during this worldwide Week of Prayer.

Three angels setting a table for me tonight They know my face They set a place for me tonight Well I can't disappoint them So I guess I'll join them They've been waiting on me forever I've been down on earth and in this town Man there's got to be something better New suit, New tie Real nice service for me when I die New suit, cufflinks, and a new tie Real nice service for me when I die That's the thing about living When you get there You're seldom forgiven And all your best friends Are people you just met You can take 'em or leave 'em They're sitting in this barroom I guess that beats the hell Out of loneliness - sweet loneliness
