Inside Anna Barnett’s recently renovated east London townhouse | Living with Style
Best known as a chef, food writer and influencer, Anna Barnett’s first priority when renovating her new(ish) east London terrace was, of course, the kitchen. When she moved it upstairs from its previous home in the sunken basement, she gave it prime position across the whole ground floor and filled it with plenty of Italian marble (an almost-too-big Rosso Verona dining table betrays a love of hosting) and crockery collected from her travels. There’s an overwhelming serenity that infuses the whole house, a clean canvas on which Anna can get creative with cool, gold-toned plastered walls and smooth, curved lines. This calmness continues in the paired-back office space that Anna has installed under the stairs on the first floor with a desk made from the marble cut-out from the bath (an exampl...

Inside Lucy Williams’s holiday-inspired London house | Living with Style
Lucy Williams loves being on holiday, whether exploring the markets of Italy or diving into a sparkling sea in Greece (where she recently got married). So it’s no surprise that when decorating her home she wanted to infuse it with that holiday feeling. Painting the exterior window frames sky blue started a love affair with the colour. She paired oceanic tones with brown marble and textiles while brightening each room with touches of art and objects from her travels to create a space that is both practical and personal.

Inside Beata Heuman's fairytale Swedish farmhouse | Living with Style
‘I grew up here on the farm. In a way it was relatively isolating so I had to entertain myself, which I think has formed the basis of my creativity,” says the interior and product designer Beata Heuman, 40, speaking at the holiday cottage she has recently finished renovating on her parents’ farm in Landskrona, southern Sweden. “I was always thinking up stories and going into different worlds in my imagination and I think that has affected how I work now.”
Today, her playful use of pattern and whimsical, dreamlike designs have made her a star of the interiors world. You’re probably familiar with her own house in Hammersmith, shared extensively by design lovers on social media or, indeed, one of the homes she has helped create for clients such as the model Adwoa Aboah. As one of reality TV series Made In Chelsea's original cast members, Oliver Proudlock is best known for his posh-boy antics, his sculpted, extravagantly tattooed body and his friendship with Prince Harry (from his Eton school days). Now, a fashion influencer (he has more than 1m followers on Twitter and Instagram ) and the founder of label Serge DeNimes, he has most recently been obsessing over door handles and dimmer switches. "I never knew they could be so, so sexy," enthuses Proudlock, now 30. His newfound passion for interiors developed when he and his fiancee, Emma Lou Connolly, bought and started renovating a home in west London, last summer. The project turned into a 16-month odyssey - project managed by Emma Lou between modelling assignments - of completely reimagining the house into a cosy, boutique-hotel like love nest, with a basement cinema room, "log cabin" style bedroom and art-deco style bathrooms. The pair - naturally - documented the entire process for their two-series YouTube show From Crib To Casa, which has had more than 1m hits, though they haven't yet shot the final "big reveal" to their fans. We get an exclusive tour of the newly completed home - surprisingly tasteful except, perhaps, for the "Yeah Baby!" picked out in mosaic tiles on one of the bathroom floors.

Indeed, with 250,000 followers, the Instagram feed of the native Swede is a veritable feast of products she has designed, from club chairs with animal feet to salt pigs that look like monsters, as well as her work on houses big and small.
Now for the first time, Beata is opening the doors of the early 18th-century farmhouse that she has renovated for herself and her family to enjoy.
