Jules Alexander (born September 25, 1943, Chattanooga, Tennessee) was in Hawaii in 1962 serving a stint in the Navy when he met Terry Kirkman (born December 12, 1939, Salina, Kansas, who had grown up in Chino, California, and attended Chaffey College as a music major), a visiting salesman. The two young musicians jammed together and promised to get together once Alexander was discharged. That happened a year later; the two eventually moved to Los Angeles and began exploring the city's music scene in the mid-1960s, often working behind the scenes as directors and arrangers for other music acts. At the same time, Kirkman played in groups with Frank Zappa for a short period before Zappa went on to form The Mothers of Invention.
The Association is the group's eponymous sixth album (# 32). It is an eclectic LP with songs in many different styles including rock, pop, blue-eyed soul, psychedelic, country and novelty, while still staying in the realm of sunshine rock and sunshine pop. Although generally well received by the critics, it did not spawn any hit singles.
It was the last studio album featuring guitarist Russ Giguere, who left for a solo career in 1971.

Native American Cave Paintings In the Anza-Borrego Desert Blue Sun Cave
My exploration of these ancient Indian cave paintings in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. These are pictographs and - unlike petroglyphs which are carved - they are painted using pigments and often multicolored. Most notable here is the blue sun. From what I've learned, blue is a rare pigment for this sort of thing.
The remote location and shade from the sun have managed to keep these paintings looking good after many years. These cave paintings are believed to be over 2000 years old.

King Khufu, also known as Cheops in ancient Greek is one of the most talked about pharaohs in Ancient Egyptian history due to his association with the Great Pyramid, but in terms of archaeology and history, there is very limited information about him.
For a man who is supposed to have built the Great Pyramid, the most incredible human accomplishment of all time, why do we know so little?
Although most believe the Sphinx is way older, many alternative researchers do actually believe that the Great Pyramid was the work of Khufu because as the late, great John Anthony West pointed out many times, if you actually observe the Khufu graffiti above the King’s Chamber, it was cl...

This subject of the age of the Great Pyramid is of course an on-going debate, but for the purpose of this specific video, I’ll assume West is correct. So, what do we know about Khufu? Who was the Shepherd King or Magician who influenced him? And where is the sacred book he wrote? Watch the video to learn more.

In my most secure moments I still can't believe I'm spending these moments with you On the ground I am walking, the air that I breathe Are shared in these moments with you You love for real You show the feel Of everything that touches you In the songs I've been singing quite often a phrase Comes close to the feeling of you But I never suspected that one of those days The wish of the song would come true [repeat chorus] You are of gracefulness You are of happiness You are what I would guess to be most like What I've been singing of [repeat intro] [repeat verse 1] [repeat chorus] Coda [repeat to fade]: Love love Love
