Arlo Davy Guthrie (born July 10, 1947) is an American folk singer-songwriter. Like his father, Woody Guthrie, Arlo is known for singing songs of protest against social injustice. Guthrie's best-known work was his debut piece "Alice's Restaurant Massacree", a satirical talking blues song about 18 minutes in length that has since become a Thanksgiving anthem, and his lone top-40 hit was a cover of Steve Goodman's "City of New Orleans." His song "Massachusetts" was named the official folk song of the state in which he has lived most of his adult life. Guthrie has also made several acting appearances over the course of his life, and he has also fathered four children who have likewise gone on to careers as musicians.
Arlo Guthrie was born in Brooklyn, New York, the son of folk singer and composer Woody Guthrie and his wife Marjorie Mazia Guthrie. His sister is record producer Nora Guthrie. His mother was a one-time professional dancer with the Martha Graham Company and founder of the Committee to Combat Huntington's disease, the disease that took Woody's life in 1967. His father was from a Protestant family and his mother was Jewish. His maternal grandmother was renowned Yiddish poet Aliza Greenblatt.
Arlo Guthrie is a 1974 album by folk singer Arlo Guthrie.

"The Red" is the breakthrough single from the band Chevelle. It is the fifth track and lead single from their major label debut, Wonder What's Next, released in 2002. Former Major League Baseball player Geoff Blum used "The Red" as his intro song when he came up to bat.
The song is about dealing with frustration and anger. Its music video depicts an anger management seminar where vocalist Pete Loeffler ascends a podium and sings the verse lyrics. The video then breaks to Chevelle performing the heavy chorus under red lighting. The agitated seminar participants, which include band members Sam and Joe, begin tossing folding chairs. By the end of the song, it is revealed that the fight happened to be just a dream.
"The Red" is the breakthrough single from the Chicago-based hard rock band Chevelle. The Red may also refer to:
The Red is an 8-minute psychological thriller created by Borderline Films (makers of Martha Marcy May Marlene and Simon Killer) and advertising agency SS+K on behalf of SALT, a free resource created by the non-profit American Student Assistance.
The Red is aimed towards making college students and recent graduates aware of their student loans and the inescapable anxiety and dread that it creates. The film is part of a sustained, multi-media campaign created to compel and empower young people to take control of their debt on a practical, day-to-day level.
The Red, distributed to theaters by Hollywood Branding International, premiered on May 2, 2013 in 5 major cities - Boston, MA, Washington, D.C., Chicago, IL, Seattle, WA and Tampa Bay, FL. Entertainment Nation, a division of Hollywood Branding International hosted VIP movie premiere events in conjunction with the theatrical broadcast in each city. The entire film short is now streaming online at FaceTheRed.com.
The Wartburg is a castle originally built in the Middle Ages. It is situated on a 410 meters (1,350 ft) precipice to the southwest of, and overlooking the town of Eisenach, in the state of Thuringia, Germany. In 1999, UNESCO added Wartburg Castle to the World Heritage List. It was the home of St. Elisabeth of Hungary, the place where Martin Luther translated the New Testament of the Bible into German, the site of the Wartburg festival of 1817 and the supposed setting for the legendary Sängerkrieg. It was an important inspiration for Ludwig II when he decided to build Neuschwanstein Castle. Wartburg is the most-visited tourist attraction in Thuringia after Weimar. Although the castle today still contains substantial original structures from the 12th through 15th centuries, much of the interior dates back only to the 19th-century period of Romanticism.
The name of the castle is probably derived from German: Warte, a watchtower, in spite of a tradition which holds that the castle's founder, on first laying eyes on the site, exclaimed, "Warte, Berg -- du sollst mir eine Burg tragen!" ("Wait, mountain -- you shall bear my castle!"). It is a German play on words for mountain (Berg) and fortress (Burg). In addition, Louis the Springer is said to have had clay from his lands transported to the top of the hill, which was not quite within his lands, so he might swear that the castle was built on his soil.
The Wartburg was a car marque manufactured in East Germany.
The name "Wartburg" derives from Wartburg Castle on one of the hills overlooking the town of Eisenach where the cars were manufactured.
From the 1950s, Wartburgs had a three-cylinder two-stroke engine with only seven major moving parts (three pistons, three connecting rods and one crankshaft).
The marque dates back to 1898 when a car made by Automobilwerk Eisenach was named the Wartburgwagen. It consisted of a two-seating cane chair, four mudgards, two headlamps, and a two-cylinder, 765-cc engine. Its top speed was 25 mph (40 km/h). The name was dropped in 1904 when the company changed hands but re-appeared briefly in the early 1930s on the BMW 3/15 DA-3 Wartburg, which was BMW's first sports car.
The name was revived in 1956 by VEB Automobilwerk Eisenach and given to an updated version of their IFA F9 car which had been in production since 1950. The new car had a more powerful version of the three-cylinder two-stroke engine driving the front wheels and a completely new body. By this time, Germany had been divided into two countries (the West and the East) and the Wartburg factory was in the communist East (GDR).

Now there's a new craze a-goin' 'round
It's gettin' bigger in most every town
From New York City out to Hollywood
Got everybody in the neighborhood
CHORUS:
Down in the unemployment line
You got yourself a place and I got mine
We been here waitin' since the clock struck nine
Down in the unemployment line
Now every day you've got to fight the horde
Just to read what's on the bulletin board
When you go back and try and claim your space
Some other sucker come and stole your place
CHORUS
I hope the people in the government
Tell us how we're gonna pay the rent
How we're gonna get enough to eat
No that the workin' man is obsolete
If things keep goin' like they seem they do
Won't be long before they're down here too
And they can be a part of this here mob
Workin' nine to five to find a job
