Dudley Stuart John Moore, CBE (19 April 1935–27 March 2002) was an English actor, comedian, musician and composer.
Moore first came to prominence in the UK as one of the four writer-performers in the comedy revue Beyond the Fringe from 1960, and with one member of that team, Peter Cook, collaborated on the television series Not Only... But Also. The double act worked on other projects until the mid-1970s, by which time Moore had settled in Los Angeles to concentrate on his movie acting.
His solo career as a comedy film actor was heightened by the success of hit Hollywood films, particularly Foul Play, 10 and Arthur. He received an Oscar nomination for the latter role.
Early life
Moore was born in the original Charing Cross Hospital, in central London, the son of Ada Francis (née Hughes), a secretary, and John Moore, a railway electrician. His father was Scottish, from Glasgow. Moore was brought up in Dagenham, east London. He was notably short: 5ft 2.5in (1.588m) and was born with club feet that required extensive hospital treatment and, coupled with his diminutive stature, made him the butt of jokes from other children. His right foot responded well to corrective treatment and had straightened itself by the time he was six, but his left foot became permanently twisted and consequently his left leg below the knee was withered. This was something he remained very self-conscious of throughout his life.
Donald W. "Dudey" Moore (April 5, 1910 – April 8, 1984) was an American college men's basketball coach. He was the head coach of Duquesne from 1948 to 1958 and La Salle from 1958-1963. He coached his teams to a 270-107 record, winning the 1955 National Invitation Tournament, five NIT semifinals appearances and making one NCAA tournament appearance. At Duquesne, Moore's team achieved a 17–5 record in the '49 season, and in 1950, 23 wins and another bid to the NIT. The 1950s marked an age of immense success for Dukes Basketball, with Moore leading his team to six NIT bids, during which time Moore was named "United Press Coach of the Year" and achieved a school-record 21–1 season (1951–52). In 1953, Duquesne was rated as a preseason "best in the East" and possibly the nation. With a 23–2 record, they were top seed for the NIT that year. Although they lost to the College of the Holy Cross, they achieved a new record of 26 victories in a season. Top-seeded again in '54, Duquesne, following a 19–4 regular season, finally won the title of NIT Champions in 1955. Moore coached such players as Chuck Cooper, Si Green, Dick Ricketts, and Bill Raferty.
The Ravens were an AmericanR&Bvocalgroup, formed in 1946 by Jimmy Ricks and Warren Suttles. They were one of the most successful and most influential vocal quartets of the period, and had several hits on the R&B chart in the late 1940s and early 1950s.
Career
Jimmy "Ricky" Ricks was born in Adrian, Georgia, later moving to Jacksonville, Florida. During World War II, he moved to New York City, where he worked as a waiter in Harlem and met Warren "Birdland" Suttles, from Fairfield, Alabama. In early 1946, they decided to form a vocal group and recruited Leonard "Zeke" Puzey, who had recently won a talent contest at the Apollo Theater, and Henry Oliver "Ollie" Jones. They found a manager, Ben Bart, and an accompanist, Howard Biggs, and made their first recordings for Bart's small Hub record label. They called themselves the Ravens, and so initiated the trend for vocal groups to name themselves after birds - groups who later followed included The Orioles, The Crows, The Larks, The Robins and The Penguins. Although the group were strongly influenced by The Ink Spots, The Delta Rhythm Boys and The Mills Brothers, they used Ricks' bass voice, rather than a more conventional tenor, as the lead on many of their recordings, and this became their trademark style. Their material was also more varied, including elements of pop, jazz, R&B, and gospel styles.
Dudley (i/ˈdʌdli/) is a large town in the West Midlands of England, 6 miles (9.7km) south-east of Wolverhampton and 8 miles (13km) north-west of Birmingham. The town is the administrative centre of the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley and in 2011 had a population of 83,727. The Metropolitan Borough, which includes the towns of Stourbridge and Halesowen, had a population of 312,900. Dudley is sometimes called the capital of the Black Country.
Dudley has a history dating back to Anglo-Saxon times, its name deriving from the Old EnglishDuddan Leah, meaning Dudda's clearing, and one of its churches being named in honour of the Anglo-Saxon King and Saint, Edmund.
Street Fighter III: New Generation(ストリートファイターⅢ NEW GENERATION) is a fighting game in Capcom's Street Fighter series, originally released as coin-operated arcade game in 1997. Street Fighter III was produced for the CD-ROM-based CP System III hardware, which allowed for more elaborate 2D graphics than the CPS II-based Street Fighter Alpha games (the previous incarnation of the Street Fighter series), while revamping many of the play mechanics. The game, which was designed as a direct sequel to Street Fighter II, initially discarded every previous character except for Ryu and Ken (hence the "New Generation" subtitle), introducing an all-new roster led by Alex. Likewise, a new antagonist named Gill took over M. Bison's role from the previous games as the new boss character.

Lyrics & Music:Kj

The Ravens Part I: Mission and Men
While most Americans watched the Vietnam War on television, another bloody conflict was transpiring next door in Laos, hidden from the news cameras and print journalists. A very small, select, group of volunteer U.S. Air Force pilots in a highly secret U.S. government program were fighting a secret war, wearing civilian clothes, piloting small, unarmed prop-driven aircraft, taking life-and-death risks on every hazardous mission and given little to no guidance other than to direct deadly fires on the enemy. These men were U.S. Air Force pilots called Ravens, guiding fast-mover U.S. fixed wing fighters and bombers onto enemy targets in an effort to stop the North Vietnamese invasion of Laos. Ravens flew and fought in Laos from 1967 to 1972, sustaining one of the highest casualty rates of any...

Come As U Are
Oh Come as u are Oh
Oh Come as u are Oh

Ravens flew and fought in Laos from 1967 to 1972, sustaining one of the highest casualty rates of any U.S. Air Force unit during the Vietnam War. This is Part I of their story.

Απόσπασμα, από την εκπομπή Not Only But Also (Peter Cook, Dudley Moore) στο BBC.
In this clip from the 1950's-60s British comedy group "Beyond the Fringe," Dudley Moore plays a very funny but also very musically well-done parody of a Beethoven Piano Sonata, using the famous whistling tune from "Bridge Over the River Kwai" as a thematic subject.
Date aired - 10/4/1973 - Peter Cook, Dudley Moore, Kirk Douglas

His most recent television successes were the September 2014 PBS special, Dick Cavett’s Watergate, followed April 2015 by Dick Cavett’s Vietnam. He has appeared in movies, tv specials, tv commercials, and several Broadway plays. He starred in an off-Broadway production ofHellman v. McCarthy in 2014 and reprised the role at Theatre 40 in LA February 2015.

That's Dudley playing "Summertime" in background music, as he enters the building! He plays piano with Ray Brown, Bass, and Nick Ceroli, drums, in some segments and with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra in others. Officially called "Dudley Moore at the Hollywood Bowl - a Salute to George Gershwin" (Earlier I wrote, "Does anyone know last name of the drummer? It's Ceroli, thanks to "neztegII"). PLAYLIST BELOW:
If you want to skip to a favorite song first, click on the number to the left of the names in the following list and YT will take you right there! A lot of you already know this but there might be a few who don't know that yet. They might think like I did in the beginning - that the number just told you where it was on the bar above and you had to locate it by pushing the round button back and forth with your mouse!!
00:00 Dudley arrives at Hollywood Bowl in a limousine, and jokes with a photographer.
SET 1:
01:36 Conductor Michael Tilson Thomas leads The Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra in several songs: "Overture for movie 'Damsel In Distress", "Nice Work If You Can Get It" and "A Foggy Day In London Town".
SET 2:
Dudley plays a Porgy & Bess medley by George Gershwin:
20:26 "It Ain't Necessarily So"
21:50 "I Loves You Porgy"
23:43 "Bess, You Is My Woman Now"
26:41 "Swanee"
28:50 "They Can't Take That Away From Me"
SET 3:
33:38 Dudley plays "An American In Paris" with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.
SET 4:
52:06 "Embraceable You"
54:01 "Lady Be Good"
55:51 "But Not For Me"
57:12 "Someone To Watch Over Me"
58:20 "Love Walked In (Thanks for song title neztegII, now I remember!-very good!)
SET 5:
1:02:17 Dudley introduces Ray Brown, bass, and Nick Ceroli, drums.
1:03:49 ________________?
1:05:18 "It's Wonderful, It's Marvelous"
1:05:55 "The Man I Love"
SET 6:

DUDLEY MOORE PLAYS "JAZZ & GERSHWIN" AT HOLLYWOOD BOWL (COMPLETE), 1984 {1} : https://youtu.be/edNKXG2r2Lg
From: robert walker
Thank you so much for persevering and giving us the opportunity to marvel at Dudley Moore's unbelievable talent - the joy and rapport of the trio is a delight - he has to be in the same league as Oscar Peterson and Errol Garner - what a pity there is so little of his genius on YouTube -
·
In reply to robert walker: Thanks for the great comment. So exciting to hear from you! You are my VERY FIRST COMMENT :)

Track 2 of 13. Yes, this is the "f*cking c*nt" one.
1/13: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pC61VSyKiA (Lobsters up bum)
3/13: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pC61VSyKiA (Churchill's bogies)
Peter Cook & Dudley Moore present Derek and Clive (Live) - a comedy sketch entitled 'This Bloke Came Up To Me' from 1976. Explicit cuntent. I didn't do much animating in this one like I did for Tracks 1 and 3, just some images of the boys in their prime.
Track Titles:
Track 1: "Worst Job I Ever Had" (Lobsters up Jayne Mansfield's bum one)
Track 2: "This Bloke Came Up To Me" (Fucking cunt one)
Track 3: "Worst Job He Ever Had" (Winston Churchill's bogey one)
Thanks to The TONIGHT SHOW starring JOHNNY CARSON, you can hear and watch DUDLEY MOORE play a composition of his: the music theme of the movie SIX WEEKS (1982) in which he stars with Mary Tyler Moore.
The complete interview (charming and very funny) is shown on this channel Playlists (go the section SO FUNNY) or the YouTube, typing: The Amazing Dudley Moore Makes His First Appearance/ CARSON TONIGHT SHOW.
Goodbye my Love (May 27th 1922 – June 7th 2015)
Thank you for the movies, the songs, the memories. Thank you for all.
Thank you for being the best and thank you for being my hero.
I will always love you my hero.
God please give him back to me :( :( :(

Ravens flew and fought in Laos from 1967 to 1972, sustaining one of the highest casualty rates of any U.S. Air Force unit during the Vietnam War. This is Part I of their story.

The Ravens Only ashes and bones remain My hair is wet, my eyes are sore The past has been fed to the flames I cannot breathe anymore I try to stand on my feet, but I fall I try to walk, but I crawl Life -- as we knew it, is over And you are gone Forever gone... I will not bend to a cross I will not kneel at your feet Greed and anger Made us younger Couldn't save us when the tower fell All my strength and all my hunger All is lost And none will live to tell I rest in the ruins of days gone by Of young affection and velvet sky A slave to greed... I do not feel regret anymore I sense the presence of birds Encircling me... And I am gone Til jord skal vi bli Dark is the night Dead is the moon I will not kneel I'd rather die Facing my doom
