Hatchet House was created as a testing ground for underground artists, to see how the Psychopathic Records fan base reacts to them. The label may produce any genre of music. Successful artists on Hatchet House may eventually be signed to Psychopathic Records themselves. At the 2007 Gathering of the Juggalos, Insane Clown Posse released the names of the artists signed to the Hatchet House label: Tali Demon, DJ Clay, and Motown Rage.
On the January 18, 2008, edition of Insane Clown Posse's Weekly Freekly Weekly internet news broadcast, R.O.C. was confirmed to be officially signed to Hatchet House and had begun production on the album Digital Voodoo. He later retired from music following a period of inactivity. Also announced on the Weekly Freekly Weekly is DJ Clay's newest series of mixtapes, which feature "the entire Psychopathic Records family, in ways you've never heard the before [...] redos, remixes, remakes, and collaborations, all unheard of." The entire Psychopathic, as well as Hatchet House, labels will be featured on the series of Let 'Em Bleed Mixxtapes, which is planned to be releasing at least three mixtapes per year. The first volume, Let 'Em Bleed: The Mixxtape, Vol. 1, was released on February 19, 2008. It featured such tracks as Shaggy 2 Dope performing Twiztid's "Fall Apart" and an Esham and Boondox collaboration.Let 'Em Bleed: The Mixxtape, Vol. 2 was released on July 8, 2008, and featured a guest appearance by Detroit rap legend Awesome Dre, and a solo track by non-Psychopathic artist Bizarre of the D12. The third volume was released on November 11, 2008.
Hatchet is a 1987 Newbery Honor-winning young-adult wilderness survival novel written by Gary Paulsen. It is the first novel of five in the Hatchet series.
Plot
Brian Robeson is a thirteen-year-old son of divorced parents. As he travels on a Cessna 406 bush plane to visit his father in the oil fields in northern Canada for the summer, the pilot suffers a massive heart attack and dies. Brian tries to land the plane, but ends up crash-landing into a lake in the forest. He must learn to survive on his own with nothing but his hatchet—a gift his mother gave him shortly before his plane departed.
Throughout the summer, Brian learns how to survive in the vast wilderness with only his hatchet. He discovers how to make fire with the hatchet and eats whatever food he can find, such as rabbits, birds, turtle eggs, fish, berries, and fruit. He deals with various threats of nature, including mosquitos, quail, a porcupine, bear, skunk, moose, wolves, and even a tornado. Over time, Brian develops his survival skills and becomes a fine woodsman. He crafts a bow, arrows, and a fishing spear to aid in his hunting. He also fashions a shelter out of the underside of a rock overhang. During his time alone, Brian struggles with memories of home and the bittersweet memory of his mother, whom Brian had caught cheating on his father prior to their divorce.
The Hatchet (orig. Romanian: Baltagul) is a 1930 crime novel novel written by Mihail Sadoveanu. The main character of the novel is the wife of a shepard living in the Moldavian village of Măgura Tarcăului, Vitoria Lipan, which has a premonition that her husband, Nechifor, on a trip to buy a new flock in the town of Dorna, has died. Her premonitions are dismissed by the village's priest and by the prefect of the county, but for Vitoria the archaic symbols and superstitions of the paysant world are more trustworthy then the books of the priests or the science of the government's officials. She calls home her son Gheorghiţă, who was also on business in Jijia, a village in Wallachia, where he waited for news from his father to pay some debts, and together they embark on a mythical journey at the end of which they find Nechifor's dead body and take their revenge on the bandits who killed him. The determined and energetic Vitoria Lipan is a unique female character in the Romanian traditionalist novel. The Hatchet is considered Sadoveanu's greatest work and a creative adaptation of many themes from a famous Romanian piece of folklore, the ballad Mioriţa.

You know the house down the street Where the kids are and every day They seem to have a new scar Something strange is going on and everybody knows Doors always shut and windows always closed The little girl had a burn The boy was black and blue They said it came from play You know that shit ain't true The boy's arm's broke girl is scared to speak Their parents drink all day Couple of dead beats Some days they go to school, and other days they might It's hard to stay awake after you cry all night You see 'em every day Tear tracks on their cheeks But they will never tell It goes on weeks and weeks (But what can they do? They're only children man!) You ain't no fuckin' kid Acting like you give a damn! Won't someone save these kids Do something, call a cop
