Ones and Zeros played the side stage at the Alice in Chains/Velvet Revolver concert in Concord on September 14th. Some of these songs have names and some don't. I haven't had a chance to go through and listen to them all again. So if Jesse said the name in the beginning, its there. If not, I'll add it later. :-) Fun times. I missed you guys! And for the record, Alice in Chains was WAY better than Velvet Revolver!

[2006] All Ones And Zeros E.P.
The band formed in 2004 through a mutual love of the pioneering German groups that began emerging in the late 60's. Bands like Can, Neu! and Harmonia who pursued a heady mix of experimentation, noise, free-jazz, pyschedelia and electronic instrumentation in their music alongside melody and song that laid the foundations for a 'scene' that subsequently became known as Krautrock. Other shared influences are broad but all encompass elements of noise, repetition, sonics and song; now key elements in The Early Years sound.

Released in February 2007, this was the lead track on The Early Years 'The Great Awakening EP'.
The Early Years signed to Beggars Banquet in 2006 and wasted no time in putting out two limited singles plus an outstanding self-titled debut album, which Drowned in Sound praised for its "noisy majesty", NME labelled "an explosion of unbridled sonic pleasure" and Artrocker decreed to be most definitely "the right side of prog."
