The Most Persistent Myth
Many technologies have promised to revolutionize education, but so far none has. With that in mind, what could revolutionize education?

The Biggest Myth In Education #1
Be that as it may, how much are every one of these presumptions in reality evident? Despite the fact that, as I will clarify, some level of disclosure learning can be valuable, it ought not be utilized in seclusion, and it ought to just be utilized in specific circumstances. How about we take a gander at why, by posing inquiries of every last one of these suspicions:
Are ideas all the more completely recalled by permitting understudies to "find things for themselves"?
Everything relies upon students' past information. This is on the grounds that calculated agreement is just conceivable by knowing realities – and ordinarily, heaps of realities. As Daisy Christodoulou (2014, pp. 20) brings up, we realize that drawn out memory is fit for putting away large number of realities, and when the...

Harvard professor debunks the biggest exercise myths | Daniel Lieberman
Exercise culture is crazy. But what you need to do is exceedingly simple.
Subscribe to Big Think on YouTube ► https://www.youtube.com/c/bigthink
Up Next ► Does exercise enhance creativity? https://youtu.be/1QOfkqIKfyw
We hold many misconceptions about exercise. For example, we believe our ancestors were incredibly strong, or that there is a tradeoff between speed and strength.
The worst myth is that it’s normal to be less physically active as you get older. But modern hunter-gatherers remain physically active as they age.
Humans need about 150 minutes of exercise per week to be healthy, but 80% of us aren’t getting even that. A good solution is simply walking more.

The Biggest Myth In Education
A learning style is the way in which an individual absorbs, processes, and retains information. There are different types of learning styles, including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. Some people may prefer to learn through visual aids such as diagrams or videos, while others may prefer to learn through listening to lectures or discussions. Kinesthetic learners may prefer to learn through hands-on activities or physical movement. In your YouTube channel, you can cater to different learning styles by incorporating a variety of teaching methods such as videos, audio recordings, and interactive quizzes. This will allow your audience to learn in a way that is best suited to their individual needs.
Here I present different types of technologies and different concepts. If you prefer to see ...

Many technologies have promised to revolutionize education, but so far none has. With that in mind, what could revolutionize education?
These ideas have been percolating since I wrote my PhD in physics education: https://ve42.co/phd
I have also discussed this topic with CGP Grey, whose view of the future of education differs significantly from mine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vsCAM17O-M
I think it is instructive that each new technology has appeared to be so transformative. You can imagine, for example, that motion pictures must have seemed like a revolutionary learning technology. After all they did revolutionize entertainment, yet failed to make significant inroads into the classroom. TV and video seem like a cheaper, scaled back film, but they too failed to live up to expectations. Now there is a glut of information and video on the internet so should we expect it to revolutionize education?
My view is that it won't, for two reasons: 1. Technology is not inherently superior, animations over static graphics, videoed presentations over live lectures etc. and 2. Learning is inherently a social activity, motivated and encouraged by interactions with others.

20) brings up, we realize that drawn out memory is fit for putting away large number of realities, and when these are retained around a specific subject, these realities together structure what is known as a 'construction'. At the point when we meet new realities about that subject, we acclimatize them into that pattern – and in the event that we as of now have a great deal of realities in that specific construction, it is a lot simpler for us to learn realities about that theme. To put it another way, real information makes psychological cycles work better.

If you prefer to see my content, then you can subscribe to my channel.
