Tennessee - The US Explained
Tennessee. There, black bears roam in the high peaks of the Great Smoky Mountains, paddle wheel steamboats chug up the wide, muddy, winding Mississippi, and in between sit small southern towns and a number of major cities, some growing incredibly quickly, that have had a major influence on American music. It's home to beautiful natural scenery, exciting cities, and played an important role in the country’s history. This is Tennessee - The US Explained.

Is Tennessee all a bunch of rednecks?
Does everybody in Tennessee listen to country music?
And does everyone in Tennessee have a truck with a gun rack?
We’ll answer those questions and a whole lot more. So grab your moonshine and yer huntin dog, we’re gonna unbox the state of Tennessee!
Well would you look at this. It’s a good ole fashioned fox hunt. The dogs are set loose to and then they try to find the scent of a fox. When they find a fox, the guys on horses will shoot it. It’s kind of an elite social status thing in Tennessee, and the tradition goes way back in this state’s history.
But not everyone in Tennessee is a fox hunter. In fact, the tradition is sort of dying out here. That’s because Tennessee isn’t the same state it once was. A lot of this state’s once proud traditions are kinda going away in many areas. Which is a shame.
But more on that later. To get a complete overview of the state of Tennessee, we need to look at the state from a higher level, and then drill down into each region to learn more.
This is Tennessee. It’s a very long state, and an oddly shaped one, too. Tennessee borders 8 other states. That’s the most of any other state, except Missouri, which also borders 8 other states.
As you’ll see, the state can roughly be divided up into three separate areas. West Tennessee, Middle Tennessee and East Tennessee. These are called the Grand Divisions. Each region is way different than the other part, and the people who live in each region all have different backgrounds and cultures. Which makes Tennessee so special.
We'll talk about Nashville, Memphis, Knoxville, Chattanooga and more.

Hi Guys!, In this video, we are going to check out 10 Best Places to visit in Tennessee.
Tennessee is known for being the birthplace of blues and country music. However, the scenery is just as mixed as its music scene. The majestic forest-covered Great Smoky Mountains are far from the lush green valleys, scorching lowlands, and other musical treasures found throughout the state.
This area of exceptional natural beauty in "Volunteer State" receives twice the number of visitors annually than its closest rival, the Grand Canyon. Its accessibility is the only reason Tennessee is so popular, with eight states touching its boundaries. Its home of stunning natural beauty, rich history, and top-notch attractions. The Great Smoky Mountains, or "Smokies," is the most popular U-S national park, may surprise you. Despite differences in music and scenery, southern hospitality is everywhere you go. There are many charming cities and towns, along with fun-filled amusement parks, and fantastic live music venues.
