Take It to the Limit is the second studio album of rock band Hinder. The album has been in the works since January 2008 and was released November 4, 2008 on Universal Motown Records. The album was recorded by Jay Van Poederooyen and produced by Brian Howes at Van Howes Studios in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The record was mixed by Chris Lord-Alge at Mix LA in Tarzana, California, USA. It has a much heavier glam metal and a lesser post-grunge influence than their last album, while retaining the elements of hard rock that the band had previously used. The album has been certified Gold by the RIAA.
Release
The first single, "Use Me", was released to radio on July 7, 2008, with a digital download release on July 15, 2008. "Heaven Sent" was performed at Hinder concerts dating back to 2007; however, the song was originally called "Heaven Lost You" when it was first performed.
Background
"We're anxious to get in and get started," frontman Austin Winkler tells Billboard.com. He says that the group has "probably three or four songs that we have prepared that we could play live at this point. Everything else is just ideas. We have a little rehearsal studio we set up (backstage) every day, and we're working on new material. It's all coming along real well."
Take It to the Limit was the third Jennings/Nelson duet album and the second to be produced by Chips Moman. Whereas their previous album together, 1982's WWII, had contained more Waylon solo tracks, this LP includes five tracks sung solely by Willie. The title actually reads Wille Nelson with Waylon Jennings, likely the result of the LP being released on Nelson's label CBS (the previous two duet albums had been released on RCA). The title song was written by Eagles' members Randy Meisner, Don Henley and Glenn Frey and performed by the Eagles on their 1975 album, One of These Nights, while "Homeward Bound" was originally by Simon and Garfunkel. Take It to the Limit was the next-to-last collaboration between Jennings and Nelson; of the four duets albums released by the singers, 1978's Waylon & Willie achieved the greatest success. Despite the fact that neither singer was in top artistic form and Jennings' most successful days were already over, the record managed to chart, peaking at #3, as did WWII. "Why Do I Have to Choose" also reached #3, while the title track reached #8 on the singles chart.
It is a document of his world travels and meetings with many of the Allies' heads of state as well as ordinary citizens and soldiers in locales such as El Alamein, Russia, and Iran. Willkie also discusses the need for some sort of world government.
Especially emphasized is the position of China in the world after World War II; involved in a civil war between Nationalists and Communists, Willkie prophesies that whichever power achieves victory will make China a force to be reckoned with. It is the duty of the United Nations (the Allies) to make sure that the power is friendly to American and other Allied interests but also that it is powerful enough to help the Chinese, the world's most populated nation.
Popularity
One World was highly popular in its time and sold millions of copies. It spent four months atop the New York Timesbestseller list beginning in May 1943.
One World is a 1977 album by John Martyn. One of his more experimental works, it features atmospheric, reggae influenced rhythms and free-flowing, jazzy arrangements. Acclaimed for its collaborative spirit, the album includes contributions from Lee Perry on "Big Muff", and Steve Winwood (keyboards). Contemporary reviews were positive, with the NME declaring the album "mean, moody and magnificent". The album is included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die by Robert Dimery. When selecting Martyn as part of a "100 Great Voices" feature,Mojo chose the title track as an example of his talent.
The album is notable for parts of it having been recorded outdoors. In particular, "Small Hours" was recorded late at night in the English countryside. The sweeping soundscapes on the album are partly due to the consequential presence of ambient sounds (such as water from a nearby lake) and natural reverb. "Small Hours" was later reworked by Martyn into the track "Anna" as the haunting backdrop for Esben Storm's 1978 Australian film production of In Search of Anna. This version of "Anna" also appears on Martyn's live album Live At The Bottom Line, New York, 1983.

Push It To The Limit
Scarface
Push it to the limit
Walk along the razor's edge
but don't look down, just keep your head
and you'll be finished
Open up the limit
past the point of no return
You've reached the top but still you gotta learn
how to keep it
Hit the wheel and double mistakes
throttle wide open like a bat out of hell
and you crash the gates
(crash the gates)
Going for the back of beyond
Nothing gonna stop you
there's nothing that strong .
So close now you're nearly at the brink
so, push it

One time One world Two times One love Three times Rewind 'Cause I'm a dedicate this song to everyone of God's children Come as you are Come just like you be It's the bumps and curves of our history But no blocks in the road that we can't traverse And no wounds from the past that can't be nursed All hate gonna dissipate from our fate No check, together we got a checkmate All hate gonna dissipate and fade away To make room for a brand new day We got one world 'til its time to fly We got so it's one love 'til we say goodbye We got one world its enough to share Til we're called home and we're caught up in the air we got One world I'll look out for you, you look out for me One world Together we can be perfect harmony One world I'll look out for you, you look out for me One world And I'm a dedicate this song to everyone of God's children One world oughta be more than enough And if its not, is God looking in pure disgust? Wondering what the dilly with the silly I see? When I made each of these in the image of me Everyday is a chance for a new stance Like every song is the beginning of a new dance And everyone of us was made to reflect the light And glorify the most high so bright We got one world 'til its time to fly So it's one love 'til we say goodbye We got one world its enough to share Til the king calls us home and we're caught up in the air we got One world I'll look out for you, you look out for me One world Together we can be perfect harmony One world I'll look out for you, you look out for me One world And I'm a dedicate this song to everyone of God's children You can come as you are Love is yours Love is ours I am a witness sweet forgiveness You will shine like a star Burning bright where you are in our one world, one world Like a star, like a star, like a star One World Like a star, Baby One World And I'm gonna dedicate this song, dedicate this song One world I'll look out for you, you look out for me One world Together we can be perfect harmony One world I'll look out for you, you look out for me One world And I'm gonna dedicate this song, dedicate this song Lets come together and love, Lets come together and love, Lets come together and love,
