Saltwater Crocodile - The Largest Reptile In The World / Documentary (English/HD)
If there was ever any marine reptile that could ever compete against and even hunt Great White Sharks, it is none other than the Saltwater Crocodile. Possessive of an intimidating size which is even larger than that of the Nile crocodile, the saltwater crocodile also packs the greatest bite force of any living animal, extremely cunning hunting style and a brutal attack strategy which has made it the subject of several documentaries. This species is particularly popular in Australia as it is often fondly called “Saltie” from its more formal name of “Saltwater Crocodile”. It also goes by the names Marine Crocodile, Estuarine Crocodile, Indo-pacific Crocodile, and Sea Crocodile.
The Saltwater Crocodile is one of the different species of crocodiles alive today. Many people often confuse crocs...

In this compilation video, we go over multiple clips from saltwater crocodile attacks and alligator encounters. What makes these ''caught on camera'' moments so scary is the fact that they were filmed in remote areas like rivers, swamps, lakes, billabongs in Texas, Florida Everglades or even Australia.
Scary animal encounters with crocodiles and alligators are actually way more common than you might think. They often happen to people who are swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, boating or duck hunting.
It just turns out that some of them were lucky enough to capture footage of these near death experiences that almost went wrong on camera and go pro. This leads to some very creepy videos and ''man vs crocodile'' moments.
Get ready, because these alligator vs man moments could easily be considered near death experiences are sure to give you the chills.

Crocodile Vs Zebra
Although the crocodiles along the Mara River are known for their enormous size, they can still bite off more than they can chew! These crocs went into a feeding frenzy after capturing a young zebra and began devouring it. One of the larger crocs ended up with most of the unfortunate zebra but was unable to swallow it! I feel like that when I go to the grocery store on an empty stomach. I buy so much food and it just stays in the fridge. At least this croc had a few friends who didn’t mind helping it out. This next scene has a bunch of zebras trying to get a drink of water when a crocodile suddenly jumps out of the water and snatches one of them.
What is going on with this world when you can’t even get a drink of water without being murdered? The zebra desperately tries to get out of the croc’s grip, but it’s not an easy feat to accomplish. I always wonder what is so important for any animal to have to cross a river infested with crocodiles. What’s on the other side that makes these zebras want to risk their lives? Sometimes zebras get lucky and will even have the audacity to walk all over crocodiles just to get out of the water, like the young zebra in this clip. In this next clip, this zebra must be hurt because this crocodile is approaching, and the zebra barely tries to getaway.
The crocodile doesn’t even try hard to grab it. What’s going on over here? This next sequence shows us a zebra barely getting away from a crocodile, but the zebra is cut and begins to bleed. The injury is not that bad, and hopefully, it will heal. Zebras will fight with all their might when their lives are threatened and their perseverance pays off, just like this zebra whose nose is being a bit off by a crocodile, but still manages to get away. Some are not that lucky, like this zebra being served for lunch at this crocodile spa.
Crocodile Vs Elephant
Elephants are not ideal candidates to take on when it’s time to eat, but sometimes, you don’t get to choose your lunch and that doesn’t exclude crocodiles. They take whatever is available, even if it means risking their own lives. Watch as a mother elephant drinks from a river, and has no idea the risk that lurks just underneath the surface. A ten-foot crocodile tries to clamp its jaws around the elephant's trunk. As the crocodile strikes and the mother fights back, the young elephants stand helpless. More elephants drinking when a crocodile strikes a young calf with all its family around.
This calf was probably celebrating a birthday or something and the crocodile had to go and ruin it all. I wonder if the crocodile has any idea how big elephants are and if they decide to walk all over it, they could pretty much crush it into the ground. This time, a huge elephant is inside the water when a crocodile grabs its trunk. I guess the crocodiles know the elephant’s weakness and their size because they always seem to go for the trunk. The elephants’ body is way too massive for the crocodile to do any real damage.

Many people often confuse crocs with alligators since both look somewhat alike. While alligators have snouts that are U-shaped, crocs on the other hand, have wider snouts that are V-shaped. Another difference is that while crocs live in both salt and freshwater, alligators only live in freshwaters. Of all the living species of crocs alive, the saltwater crocodile is both the largest and the heaviest.
It can easily be differentiated from other croc species by its snout which is much wider than most other species such as the Indian Mugger crocodile. It also has ridges in the eyes which run down the center of its snout and has its body covered in oval shaped scales. Juvenile Saltwater Crocodiles are more often pale yellow with black spots and stripes. Adults, on the other hand, are often greenish-dark with some being so dark that they appear blackish.
Some adults however, retain their pale coloration. Their bellies are either white or yellow. Another distinctive feature of a saltwater crocodile is the fact that it is a solitary animal that is rarely ever seen in groups in the wild as it is notorious for being the most territorial and aggressive of all croc species.
Rightfully crowned with the title of being the “largest living reptile in the world”, it is not uncommon to find some growing to be as long as 23 feet (or 7 meters) in length! Mature male saltwater crocodiles are often larger than females with males measuring between 14 and 23 feet (about 4.2 to 7 meters) while females often measure 7.5 to 11 feet (approximately 2.3 to 3.3 meters) in length.
Top of the reptilian chain not in size but also in weight, a typical saltwater croc measures between 880 and 2,200 pounds (about 400 to 1,000 kilograms)! To attain such an incredibly large size and weight, the saltwater crocodile has a wide range of habitat where it is able to grow to such gargantuan dimensions.
Although saltwater crocodiles live in certain freshwater regions of the world, it, however prefers brackish waters i.e. water whose salinity falls between that of seawater and freshwater such as those often found in estuaries. It is also a very common sight to see these majestic marine beasts far out at sea swimming comfortably.
They can therefore be found in waters of Southeast Asia and Eastern India. However, the country with the largest population is Australia as they can be found mostly in the northern region such as in places like Queensland. A few can still be found in countries like Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines where they were once plentiful.
Did you know that the saltwater croc is an ancient marine animal that lived with the Dinosaurs? It has been in existence ever since the time of the Dinosaurs and somehow survived the Cretaceous-Palaeogene (K-Pg) mass extinction event which wiped out the Dinosaurs some 65 million years ago. Ever since then, the saltwater crocodile has continued to evolve and adapt to its ever-changing environment.
