Strange Love is the sixth studio album by the American rock band T.S.O.L. (True Sounds of Liberty), released in 1990 through Enigma Records. It was the band's final studio album to include singer/guitarist Joe Wood and drummer Mitch Dean, and the only one to include guitarist Marshall Rohner. Bassist and sole remaining original member Mike Roche left the group after the recording of Strange Love, reuniting with the rest of the original lineup in 1991. Wood and Dean carried on for a few more years with other members, but Strange Love was a commercial disappointment and the band was eventually dropped from Enigma. In 1999 founding members Roche, Jack Grisham, Ron Emory, and Todd Barnes would win back legal rights to the name "T.S.O.L." from Wood and relaunch the band, taking it back to its punk rock roots.
Background
T.S.O.L.'s original lineup of singer Jack Grisham, guitarist Ron Emory, bassist Mike Roche, and drummer Todd Barnes had released two albums and two EPs before Grisham and Barnes left the band in 1983. They were replaced by singer/guitarist Joe Wood and drummer Mitch Dean, and over the course of three studio albums and a live album between 1984 and 1988 the band moved away from the original lineup's hardcore punk sound in favor of gothic rock, hard rock, and glam metal. Emory left the band in 1988 during recording of demos for Strange Love, leaving Roche as the sole remaining original member; Emory has a writing credit on the track "Blow by Blow". He was replaced by guitarist Scotty Phillips from San Diego, who toured with the band and worked with them on the Strange Love material but left to pursue other musical endeavors; Phillips shares writing credit on three of the album's tracks.Los Angeles guitarist Marshall Rohner replaced him, and the band recorded Strange Love at L.A.'s Sunset Sound Factory and Crystal Sound in September 1989.
Strange Love is a reality series featuring Brigitte Nielsen and Flavor Flav that aired on VH1. Sparked by their on-screen romance in the third season of VH1's The Surreal Life, it is a spin-off that focused solely on Brigitte and Flav. The series premièred on January 9, 2005 and ended its run on April 24, 2005.
Due to mutual jealousy, the couple was constantly fighting and yelling, and they went their separate ways in the end, with Nielsen choosing instead to live with her Italian boyfriend, Mattia Dessi.
Flavor Flav would go on to have his own reality show, Flavor of Love, where he continued to search for love.

"Flav and Brigitte receive an invite to a Gala at lake Como. Flav bends over backwards to become "proper" for the occasion, but he's only willing to go so far (he reluctantly takes an etiquette lesson and he buys a tailored suit, but a pimp suit). Mattia falls out of favor with Brig when he sends her clothes in a paper bag. Flav encourages the end of their relationship. Brigitte admits that when Mattia is bad, he has to sleep in the closet. Flavor says that he would never be like Mattia. They go clubbing, Flav raps. Brigitte kisses another guy AND another girl. Flav kisses another girl. Brigitte slaps him and he slaps her right back. Brigitte realizes she's with a real man ... and likes it."
The song talks of a woman who says despite the fact she has separated from a former lover, she still has emotions for him often recalling memories of the lover and says the harder she tries to get rid of the memories, the more she wants him back. It was a rare ballad released by the teenage crooner.

Released shortly after her second single, "I Don't Want to Take a Chance" became her first top 40 hit in 1961, the single failed to chart which resulted in Motown CEO Berry Gordy hiring different writers to give Wells a more polished pop sound, finally finding the answer in Smokey Robinson. This song was composed by Mickey Stevenson and George Gordy.

We the Kings is an American rock band from Bradenton, Florida. Their self-titled full-length debut album, released in 2007, included the platinum single "Check Yes Juliet", and went on to sell over 250,000 copies in the US. Their second album Smile Kid (2009) included Top 40 singles "Heaven Can Wait" and "We'll Be a Dream" (featuring Demi Lovato), as well as the single "She Takes Me High".
The band's third album Sunshine State of Mind was released in 2011 and featured the MTV Video Music Award winner for Most Innovative Music Video of the Year for their interactive music video and song "Say You Like Me". The band then completed a worldwide tour with Canadian band Simple Plan and performed across the US as a main stage headliner on the Vans Warped Tour. Their fourth album Somewhere Somehow was released in late 2013 and includes singles "Just Keep Breathing", "Find You There", "Any Other Way", and "Art of War".
