St. Mary's Church, St. Mary the Virgin's Church, St. Mary Church, Saint Mary Church, or other variations on the name, is a commonly used name for specific churches of various Christian denominations.
Notable uses of the term may refer to:
The parish was established in 1852 by the Rev. John Lewis, an ex-Redeptionist, who arrived in Staten Island that year. Mass was first celebrated in a private house before private land was donated and after a few years a church and rectory were built.
Pastors
Rev. John Lewis (1852-1887)
Rev. Corkery (1887-1890)
Rev. James F. Mee (1891-1909)
Rev. Michael A. Cunniff (1909-1909 when he died)
Msgr Daniel J. McMackin, D.D. (1909-?), assisted in 1914 by Rev. Cornelius J. Cronan
St. Mary's Parish School
The parochial school was established by the founding pastor, the Rev. Lewis, which in 1914 was conducted by 5 Sisters of Charity of Mount St. Vincent-on-the-Hudson (who also conduct an academy) and 3 lay teachers. The school had, in 1914, 182 boys and 188 girls. The school was among 27 closed by Archbishop Dolan in the Archdiocese of New York on 11 January 2011.
St. Mary's Church is a Roman Catholic church in Meilahti, Helsinki neighborhood. In 1954 the church was completed and it was designed by architect Kaj Salenius.
The Church has other parts, such as the church hall and rectory. These were corrected in 1976. The interior of the church was renovated in 1985. At that time, the church made an altar on the wall of a deacon by German artist Claus Kilian. The church interior from the outset was completed gradually. Construction has two different dates from the altar. Oldest altar is against the wall, and the current main altar is in the middle of the chancel. The church has a separate baptistery.
The church hall on both sides is composed of the stained glass windows representing the seven corporal and seven spiritual acts of charity.
The church organ dates back from 1965, it was built by Swedish Richard Jacoby. Church bell tower has three bells.
New Mills is a town in Derbyshire, England, approximately 8 miles (13km) south-east of Stockport and 15 miles (24km) from Manchester. It lies at the confluence of the rivers Goyt and Sett, close to the border of Cheshire. The town stands above the Torrs, a 70 feet (21m) deep gorge, cut through Woodhead Hill Sandstone of the Carboniferous period. It is on the north-western edge of the Peak District, England's first national park. It has a population of approximately 10,000. New Mills can refer to the built-up area that includes Newtown and Low Leighton, or the civil parish that includes the villages and hamlets of Whitle, Thornsett, Hague Bar, Rowarth, Brookbottom, Gowhole, and most of Birch Vale.
Before the Redistribution of Seats Act 1885 the area was part of the three seat constituency of Hertfordshire. Upon this act, it took up the western division of the county, however later seats such as South West Hertfordshire, established in 1950 have reduced its reach, as settlements in those areas, and Watford itself, have grown.
The seat has been a bellwether of the national result since February 1974. Watford saw considerable Liberal Democrat opposition in 2005, achieving second place, taking many Labour votes with the Conservative candidate close behind.
Before the 2010 general election it was a three-way marginal seat in which local Tories, Labour supporters and Liberal Democrats aimed to garner support for their candidate. This election in Watford was won by Richard Harrington (Con) with 34.9% of the vote. The Liberal Democrats narrowly missed out on the seat with 32.4% of the vote and the defeat for Labour's candidate, Claire Ward, was a pronounced change with 26.7% of the vote.
Graham Taylor's coffin is carried into St. Mary's Church, Watford - Daily Mail
A service in memory of the former England and Aston Villa manager is being held at St Mary's church in Watford, the town whose team he took to the top of English football. Among the former players and managers attending were Sir Alex Ferguson (left), Sir Trevor Brooking (centre), Arsene Wenger (right) David Platt (second left) and John Barnes (centre right). The service will be shown on two big screens outside the church for the 5,000 fans expected to pay their respects. Sir Elton John (inset), who owned Watford at the time Taylor was manager, praised his friend in a tribute read by commentator John Motson. Taylor's wife Rita (right) and two daughters Joanne and Karen announced his death on January 12, saying they were 'devastated by the sudden and totally unexpected loss'.

Walks in England: Exploring St Mary's Church, Reigate, Surrey
Today I am out with Matthew Holdsworth exploring St Mary's parish church in Reigate, Surrey.
Work on this large church (one of Surrey's biggest) began in about 1200—the "unexpectedly noble" arcades date from then—and continued until the 15th century. Henry Woodyer (1845) and George Gilbert Scott, Jr. (1877–81) restored it and largely created its present appearance.
We also discover Francis Frith's final resting place and some fascinating medieval knight's helmets.

Watford Borough Council was awarded a grant of £80,300 by the Heritage Lottery Fund towards a project to help restore a number of chest tombs in St Mary’s Churchyard.
The tombs that have been restored date from between 1725, the Isaac Finch Tomb and 1867 when John Dyson was buried in the Dyson Tomb.
GEORGE EDWARD DONEY GRAVESTONE
This grave is of national significance and represents a notable aspect of the social history of the town. The headstone marks the grave of a black man who was born in Gambia in West Africa. He was sold into slavery in Virginia, USA before starting work as a servant to the Earls of Essex on the Cassiobury Estate, for whom he worked for 44 years.
He was buried in the St Mary’s Church Graveyard in 1809 and we know from the parish registers that he had also been christened at St Mary’s Church 35 years earlier, in 1774.

St. Mary's Church, St. Mary the Virgin's Church, St. Mary Church, Saint Mary Church, or other variations on the name, is a commonly used name for specific churches of various Christian denominations.
Notable uses of the term may refer to:
She's got a ticket and she's waiting at the station She's got to get away as far as she can Her problems will arise as sure as the sun shine She's got to get used to living on the lam Now marry's out the door with a loaded 44 in her hand Shooting down the law that shot down her dear departed man When i last saw her she was looking trouble She said this is the 90's i'm gonna be alright She took the greyhound into salinas I got a letter that she dropped out of sight Now marry's out the door with a loaded 44 in her hand Shooting down the law that shot down her dear departed man Shrouded in anger encompassed by pain He was your best friend and you will never ever ever see him again Now marry's out the door with a loaded 44 in her hand
