China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (中国石油化工股份有限公司), or Sinopec Limited (simplified Chinese:中国石化; traditional Chinese:中國石化; pinyin:Zhōngguó Shíhuà), is a Chinese oil and gas company based in Beijing, China. It is listed in Hong Kong and also trades in Shanghai and New York.
Sinopec Limited's parent, Sinopec Group, is one of the major State Owned petroleum energy and chemicals companies in China, headquartered in Chaoyang District, Beijing. The battery swap station can automatically replace batteries for vehicles within three minutes, with a maximum capacity of 168 services per day, and is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 3,550 tonnes per year.

Sinopec Fifth Construction Co., Ltd. successfully completed the 1st modular installation for the Chemical and Refining Integrated Singapore Project (CRISP) within 3 hours. The weight of the module is 97.62 tonnes.
CRISP is the first joint project between TR and Sinopec Fifth Construction Co., Ltd. in Southeast Asia. The joint consortium will build a hydro-cracking and a hydrogenation unit, including mechanical and electrical installation, anti-corrosion, thermal insulation and fire prevention to be completed in October 2024.

Two new gas and oil deposits have been found in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region in western China, according to China Petroleum & Chemical (Sinopec). The oil giant said in a January 25, 2022, statement that the deposits will yield daily outputs of 874 barrels of crude oil and 1.093 million cubic metres of natural gas. Sinopec says new wells tapped ultra-deep fault zones discovered in 2016, which are at high pressure and temperature, making them among the world’s most difficult to explore.
