Pascal-Emmanuel Sinamoyi Tabu (13 November 1937 or 1940 – 30 November 2013), better known as Tabu Ley Rochereau, was a leading African rumba singer-songwriter from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He was the leader of Orchestre Afrisa International, as well as one of Africa's most influential vocalists and prolific songwriters. Along with guitarist Dr Nico Kasanda, Tabu Ley pioneered soukous (African rumba) and internationalised his music by fusing elements of Congolese folk music with Cuban, Caribbean and Latin Americanrumba. He has been described as "the Congolese personality who, along with Mobutu, marked Africa's 20th century history." He was dubbed "the African Elvis" by the Los Angeles Times. After the fall of the Mobutu regime, Tabu Ley also pursued a political career.
During his career, Tabu Ley composed up to 3,000 songs and produced 250 albums.
Yako is a town in northern Burkina Faso, once capital of a small state. It lies 109 kilometres (68mi) north-west of Ouagadougou. Yako is known for its large mosque, and as the birthplace of Thomas Sankara.
Yako (野狐) is a spirit possession of foxes (kitsune), as told in Kyushu. To be possessed by it is called "yako-tsuki" (野狐憑き).
The appearance of a yako is almost completely consistent among all legends, and unlike real foxes, they are black or white, are slightly larger than a mouse, and smaller than a cat. The original yako is said to be invisible to the eye. In Hirado, Nagasaki Prefecture, they normally bring along a great crowd that walks with them, and thus there is the phrase "yako's thousand-fox company(ヤコの千匹連れ,yako no senbiki ture)."
In Nagasaki Prefecture, Saga Prefecture, and other places in Northern Kyushu, those who are possessed by a yako show symptoms like an illness. On Iki Island, they are also called yakō, and since they resemble weasels, it is said that when one of them conceals themselves under a person's armpits, that person would become possessed by a yakō. It is said that getting a burn or smallpox scar licked by a yakō results in death, and those who have been afflicted with smallpox would go inside a net in order not to get close to a yakō, and protected themselves from a yako getting in by either scattering ashes from an epaulette tree or leaving a sword.

The Kitsune - The Legendary Fox Spirits From Japanese Folklore | Japanese Mythology Explained
In Japanese mythology, the Kitsune is a legendary fox spirit also known as Yokai that has the ability to shapeshift. Because of their close association to the Shinto Kami Inari, people from Japan started venerating these magical creatures as they would do for a Kami. The Kitsune is often depicted as a fox with one or multiple tails, going from one to nine tails total. It's believed that a Kitsune gains a new tail every hundred year along their appearance, and their strength and wisdom. After a thousand of years, a kitsune is said to obtain its ninth tail, subsequently becoming a Tenko or a celestial fox known by the name of Kyubi no kitsune.

According to Japanese folk tales, meeting a kitsune was not always pleasant, because they were also cunning and mischievous spirits. However, they were two main categories of foxes; the Zenko or benevolent spirits associated with Inari and the Yako or bad foxes.
The kitsune are also known to have had intermarried with humans and bore their children, even though in most of these stories the kitsune is often chased away after her identity has been revealed. Stories regarding the famous are very well present in Japanese culture, whether in the literature, religious, cuisine and even in the animation culture.
