Valispace: Satellite Catalog Tutorial
At Valispace we are always working to make the lives of engineers easier. With the new integrated catalogue, you will be able to import off-the-shelf satellite models, subsystems and components into your own design. This will significantly decrease the amount of time spent on trivial tasks, valuable time which engineers can spend on performing their actual jobs, which is making advanced models and calculations. This is how Valispace empowers engineers.

The Future Satellite Catalog -- Dr. Paul Schumacher
Many persons do not realize that the U. S. military carries on an extensive world-wide satellite tracking operation to maintain a complete inventory, or catalog, of all known man-made objects in orbit around the Earth. Besides its military applications, the satellite catalog serves a variety of commercial, civil and even diplomatic functions. At present, more than 20,000 objects are being tracked and monitored routinely, and their positions can be calculated for any time of interest, past, present or future. However, with the likelihood of exponential growth of commercial activity in space in the next few decades, and with the advent of several very sensitive, high-capacity tracking systems coming online in the next few years, the job of updating and maintaining a future satellite catalog ...

Tracking and monitoring Chinese spacecraft for a long time, what does the USA want to do?
Our channel just shared a video about spies a few days ago. In fact, in today's modernized information society, the competition between countries is not only limited to the economic and military power perspectives, because of the continuous advancement of information technology, the hidden surveillance activities between countries are also beginning to be gradually exposed.
In mid-August 2022, U.S. Space News wrote a story about a Chinese aircraft. The Satellite Catalog Number (also known as NORAD Catalog Number, NORAD ID, NASA catalog number, USSPACECOM object number or simply catalog number and similar variants) is a sequential 5-digit number assigned by USSPACECOM (United States Space Command) to all Earth orbiting satellites in order of identification. Before USSPACECOM, the catalog was maintained by NORAD. The first catalogued object, catalog number 00001, is the Sputnik 1 launch vehicle, with the Sputnik 1 satellite assigned catalog number 00002.As of August 2017, the National Space Science Data Center Master Catalog listed more than 42,900 tracked objects including more than 7,800 satellites launched into orbit since 1957.

In this talk, Dr. Schumacher will describe for the general public the fundamentals of the satellite catalog: who, what, where, when, how and why. He will also describe the difficulties of building the future space catalog and why this problem is occupying a number of researchers in Government laboratories around the country, besides a few researchers here on Maui.

It not only clearly stated that the Chinese spacecraft is a repeatable space shuttle, but also announced many details, such as: What day was it launched, how high the orbit was, and how long did it run? Even the two inspection satellites next to it were described very clearly, and they even gave this aircraft a number: 53357. This is not over yet. In order to increase the credibility, this article is also accompanied by a map of the Chinese launch site, which clearly shows the structure of the Chinese launch site.
In mid-August, China did launch a reusable spacecraft, but China disclosed very little information, only a brief sentence from Chinese official media such as Xinhua News Agency, saying: Jiuquan Center launched a reusable spacecraft. That is to say: Chinese aerospace officials have adopted strict secrecy measures, but the 18th Space Defense Force of the United States has obtained a lot of information. In fact, the United States has systematically monitored all countries in the world.
So, how did they track China's spaceflight, and what impact does it have on China? Hi, everyone. Welcome to Hot Topics Time. Before we start today's video, please subscribe to our channel, which is the encouragement that we can create more videos. OK, let's continue the topic we are talking about.
