Saskatchewan (i/səˈskætʃəwᵻn/ or /səˈskætʃəˌwɑːn/) is a prairieprovince in Canada, which has a total area of 651,900 square kilometres (251,700sqmi) and a land area of 592,534 square kilometres (228,800sqmi), the remainder being water area (covered by lakes/ponds, reservoirs and rivers). Saskatchewan is bordered on the west by Alberta, on the north by the Northwest Territories, on the east by Manitoba, and on the south by the American states of Montana and North Dakota. As of December 2013, the population of Saskatchewan was estimated at 1,114,170. Residents primarily live in the southern half of the province. Of the total population, 257,300 live in the province's largest city, Saskatoon, while 210,000 live in the provincial capital, Regina. Other major cities include Prince Albert, Moose Jaw, Yorkton, Estevan, Swift Current, and North Battleford.
Saskatchewan is a landlocked province with large distances to moderating bodies of waters. As a result, its climate is extremely continental, rendering severe winters all throughout the province. Southern areas have very warm or hot summers. Midale and Yellow Grass near the U.S. border are tied for the highest ever recorded temperatures in Canada with 45°C (113°F) observed at both locations in July 1937. In winter, temperatures below −45°C (−49°F) are possible even in the south during extreme cold snaps.
The electoral district of Saskatchewan was originally within the geographical region of the Northwest Territories. With the creation of the province of Saskatchewan in 1905, this riding, with territory in Alberta as well, was replaced in 1907 by Saskatchewan riding within the province of Saskatchewan.
Election results
By-election: Hon. W. Laurier appointed Prime Minister, 11 July 1896
Manitoba (i/ˌmænᵻˈtoʊbə/) is a province located at the longitudinal centre of Canada. It is one of the three prairie provinces and is the fifth-most populous province in Canada, with a population of 1,208,268 as of 2011. Manitoba covers an area of 649,950 square kilometres (250,900sqmi) with a widely varied landscape; the southern and western regions are predominantly prairie grassland, the eastern and northern regions are dominated by the Canadian Shield, and the far northern regions along the Hudson Bay coast are arctic tundra. Manitoba is bordered by the provinces of Ontario to the east and Saskatchewan to the west, the territory of Nunavut to the north, and the US states of North Dakota and Minnesota to the south.
Manitoba was a system-on-a-chip (SoC) introduced by Intel Corporation in 2003. It was a mostly unsuccessful attempt by Intel to break into the smart phones market. The chip integrated flash memory, a digital signal processor and an XScale processor core. After the chip's failure in the marketplace, the business was sold to Marvell in 2006 for $600 million.

Hi guys! Welcome to our #travel channel and good to have you here! This is EP 2 of #travelvlog for our #crosscanada #roadtrip in August 2020, all about our time in Manitoba and Saskatchewan!
If you like our video, please give it a thumbs up/like/subscribe :) We are excited to make and share more videos about the road trip by the province!
Any questions/suggestions/comments please let us know! Thanks for watching ♥

Special Travel and Self-isolation rule of Manitoba at the time of the trip:
"In general, anyone arriving in Manitoba is required to self-isolate for 14-days upon arrival except for essential errands and emergencies. Exemptions were residents or travelers from western Canada or northwestern Ontario."
Since we traveled from non-exempt regions, while absolutely following all the physical distancing rules and living on hand sanitizers, what we basically did to stick to the rules were:
1) FOOD: Ordered take-outs with UberEats/minimal grocery shopping
2) ACCOMMENTATION/TRAVEL: Stuck to hotel/briefly checked out the city by car only when we went out to get grocery
3) ENTERTAINMENT: laughed at each other's bad jokes
Sorry for only having very little content about Manitoba! Hope to visit again and explore more thoroughly another time :)
————————————————————————————————————
Detailed Itinerary:
Aug 9, 2020 - Day 9 Briefly stopped by Kakabeka Falls, and passed by Centre of Canada Park on the way to Winnipeg, MB.
Aug 10, 2020 - Day 10 Driving through Winnipeg on the car
Aug 11, 2020 - Day 11 Left Winnipeg and headed to Regina, SK! Airbnbed for 1 night at a city called Moose Jaw outside of Regina. Breathtaking sunset on prairies!
Aug 12, 2020 - Day 12 BEST DAY on the road trip in Grassland National park as we did hiking in badlands, saw tons of wild animals and ran into probably less than 10 cars!
