DOWN's glorious win over Meath, the team that couldn't be beaten" in the 1991 All-Ireland Final ended a 23 year wait for the return of the Sam Maguire Cup to Ulster and sparked an unprecedented domination of the championship by teams from Ulster.
DONEGAL's first ever triumph in Irish sport's blue riband event was a tactical masterpiece by manager Brian Mc Eniff, with their splendid 1992 victory over Dublin in the final defying the critics who insisted their short game style would never suceed.
DERRY's 1993 win over Cork, again could be attributed largely to a cohesive blend of style, commitment and passion. it was obviously the county's first All-Ireland but it was unique also in that no province ever before had three different teams complete a hat-trick of wins!

DOWN's fifth title, and their second under current Manager Peter McGrath, ensured the balance of power continues to rest in the north of the country when they broke the hearts of millions of Dubliners in dramatic style last September. The Sam was back where it belonged!
Relive it all with Jimmy Magee and the key personalities and players who contributed to four glorious years of Ulster Football.
