Prior to European colonization of the area, the site of Salina was located within the territory of the Kansa people. Claimed first by France as part of Louisiana and later acquired by the United States with the Louisiana Purchase in 1803, it was within the area organized by the U.S. as Kansas Territory in 1854. In 1856, a colony led by Preston B. Plumb established the first American settlement near the site at a location on the Saline River.

August 7, 2021 Sever Thunderstorm with a warning of 70mph winds and nickel sized hail came through Salina, KS. The gust front on the leading edge of the storm I will give close to 70mph but once the rain started it was moderate and the hail core was no longer there.
All shots were taken on the east side of town in a neighborhood (due to lack of a working vehicle because of new brakes being needed) after sunset so they are dark. Imbedded lightning illuminates the base of the storm and there is commentating through the video so that the viewer knows what they are looking at.

Included on this channel are some driving and snorkeling videos and even a couple bike rides I recorded.
You can also see my beginning drone videos looking at 2016 dates when I filmed in safe nature areas. I practiced how to crash safely, how to fly with three propellers and how to ground the drone and drive to it. I practiced in snow, rain and extreme cold to make sure I understood the drones limitations before I went to the big cities. I handle a drone like I do a gun and I truly hope others do the same.
Please share your thoughts with me; even if they are not easy to read, I need to know how I am meeting your expectations 😊
Thank you,
James
